Providers behind the door

Ladies, why is it that when you open the door you stand behind it so we walk into an empty room? It's a really weird feeling to walk in and have someone standing behind you. It's very unnerving to me, almost like I'm going to be jumped from behind by someone who is going to rob me. The few times I've been greeted by a lady with her smiling face and a warm hug , it really put me at ease and there was no tension getting to know each other.
I suggest you open the door facing the guy and say "Hi", give a quick hug (maybe a kiss) and invite the guy in to get comfortable. When that happens, my time with you is so much more enjoyable. It's like you WANT to be there and you're looking forward to it. Hiding behind the door makes me feel suspicious and wary. That's not how I want to feel when I'm with you. So how about it? After you read this, greet your guys with open arms and make us feel welcome!

I know every provider has a reason for why they stand behind the door.  For me, it's alot easier.  I am very short and usually stand on phone books to see out the peephole lol.  Once I see that it is a gent and not housekeeping etc. I just pull the handle.  I am usually not wearing much.  If there is a room directly in front from mine I just can't open the door in a see through robe, garters etc:)   The only time that I answer the door face to face is if the person requested it or asked that I wear a business suit, dress etc.

Also, if there is housekeeping on the floor at the time it works alot better for me.  I tell the gent beforehand that there is housekeeping nearby and to just open the door.  This way they don't draw attention as I open the door as soon as they turn the handle.  I don't take many apts a day, but even so, opening the door and greeting more than one gent with a  DFk or passionate kiss  WILL draw needless attention.
I try to make everyone fell welcome, but depending on what city you are in, we have to be a little more careful of how we greet our guest.  Some hotels (nice ones at that) know that there are providers using the hotel and are on the look out.  Sad but true.  I know several ladies have been kind enough to alert the rest of us of these hotels.  So, sometimes, we are just a little more careful not to draw attention from housekeeping or staff.  It isn't that we don't want to make you feel welcome.

So that's it.  I thought it was an automatic door opener and I was entering an EMPTY room...;) lmao

BTW, that phone book thing was cute as hell.  I thoroughly enjoyed your demonstration.  You had the "alignment" JUST RIGHT.

Had the right idea.. Now men complain how we open the door

Christ.

Missy, bless ya for being so patient.
I must go. There is one hair out of 9million on my head I need to fix before I walk out the door to next outcall LOLOL

Speaking of :

Can you men please use your left foot first when walking in the room ? It turns me on :)Why does everyone start out with the right ?

Ciara, maybe it's because we're RIGHT footed?  Besides, the doors normally open inward toward the right.  If we used the left foot first, we'd have to walk into the door with the right foot on the second step and that would knock the gal over (assuming she's actually THERE, of course)...lol

Hi there.  I had a session earlier, and yes I'm one of the ladies who stands behind the door.  I thought about that when my gentleman friend walked into the room.  Once I closed the door, however I do give them a nice big hug and kiss.  This standing behind the door bit is only done to shield us from prying eyes when we open the door.  I'm dressed in my lingerie, so therefore I wouldn't want to open the door and show any passerbys in the hallway my goodies. (smile)

I do understand how you feel darling.  I want to surprise my friends with lingerie from the beginning so there is no waiting for me to change while they are getting undress, as I like undressing my friends.  (grin)

xoxoxoxoxo

Ah shucks, you mean THIS "passerby" wouldn't be getting any freebies on his stroll??? lol

Oh no baby, not worried about that, just trying to keep things "low key".  I don't have any problems with being an exhibitionist at times (big grin)  lol

I gather it's some sort of security precaution. They probably feel safer that way. It does seem a little odd at first, but doesn't bother me now.

Of course, if you have a "regular" lady you visit often, that doesn't happen any more. :)

I may do that sometimes because of my attire or lack there of. If there is anyone else outside I do not want then to see me nipples and cooch out to the world. LOL If I am completely dressed than standing behind the door is not necessary.

Vanica, I would like to say that I could restrain MY "cooch".  But then we BOTH know better...~~}  I guess you can just call me your "hoochie coochie man"....{evil grin}

I suspect it is a precaution for several reasons:

1) If the client is somewhat sketchy or menacing in appearance, it allows the provider to quickly close the door if necessary.

2) On the off-chance that LE shows up, what provider wants to open the door barely clothed with a big grin on her face?

3) Finally, even if it is the scheduled normal client, many providers work out of apartment buildings.  They may not want their neighbors who may be passing by to know that they greet strangers with just a towel, negligee (or less) on.

They do it so people passing by in the hall can't see the person who is receiving guests around the clock.

...inevitable dousing with holy water that always follows that I find most disconcerting...

...particularly if the shirt I happen to be wearing is a blend as those really show moisture.
