Yes, there are probably more guys into t-girls than most of us on this board tend to assume.
However, I would not use the number of Eros ads as a barometer of the market. My guess is that the supply exceeds the demand and many of those TS providers get very few phone calls. There is a lot of stuff out there about how gay men are often frustrated because they are all looking for men who are more masculine than they are. Peruse the CityPaper Matches M4M section and see how many of the guys who place those ads are looking for "straight-looking" dudes. In bondage communities, everybody wants to be a bottom.
The fact that the clients of t-girls usually do not think of themselves as gay has to complicate things, and I would be very interested to learn that it skews this general trend enough to actually make providing a going venture for most of those t-girls. Maybe getting breast implants is the solution to the frustration I just described, but most of those men identify themselves as men and therefore would not go for the surgery.

Generally, men with wives and girlfriends do not need to hobby to get sex. However, if they want to experiment, such as with TS's, they would have go outside of their relationships to seek them out at places such as Eros. So I would think that the demand is relatively high.
Just my armchair speculation with no supporting data, of course.
Most of the TS ladies I know are SWAMPED with business! If the market had very little demand for the TS ladies there would be very few ads for their services.
I am not sure if the top 100 stats are correct....if so many many many of the top providers in the country are TS Providers. If it is correct the top provider in Chicago is the BEAUTIFUL Ms Rachel.
When I first got into the Hobby scene (10+ years ago) I was curious about the same thing. And from my experience and information I offer the following 2 observations:
- I saw a documentary on this group that "Outs" gay politicians who vote straight but live gay secretly. they note in the documentary that you can not swing a dead cat in DC without hitting a gay person. Hence, net of psychological discussion I would summize that you may have a lot of guys in DC who straddle the fence between the gay/straight thing and "do" the middle option of T girls to satisfy there inclinations.
- I have a ATF that I've seen for years who also provides in the BDSM and other not so main stream activities and she has told me that one would be surprised at the volume and "not-so-main-stream-" taste of many high profile men in DC. So yes there is a strong market for T- Girls.

And why are they posting in BP escort sections all over the place, there is a section called TS, they should stick to that. I hate it when I open an ad and finds out it is a TS advertising, thats just plain nasty.
