I don't think so - you have to get past the first step - and that's not happening - LOL

Step One: He admitted he was powerless over providers -- that his life had become unmanageable -

OK - lets say you did make it pass the first step - do you think you would accept the second - I'm not sure about this one - LOL


Step Two: He Came to believe that a Power greater than himself could restore him to sanity

Here - if you did make it this far - what about this one?

Step Three: Made a decision to turn his will and life over to the care of others as he understood them.

OK - so if you are serious and have passed the 3 steps ahead - this is a tough one -

Step Four: Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of himself. This one could take you until review #500 - you have to revist all 370 who came before and inventory them - LOL...

I just finished salivating over his review on Toni Maddox which he starts off "since he is cutting back on hobbying". I guess he is down to one provider a day. Damn it I'm standing outside of the safeway mugging homeless guys for their recyclible cans so I can finally see Molly and he's cutting back. The only thing I'm cutting back on is my wife. She's keeps cockblocking me.

How about 800K in a long term bond fund. That will generate about 3K a month in interest income to fund the hobby. Might be better if it is a tax exempt bond fund no tax.

Oh great idea, but I suspect that someone who is  thinking of borrowing recyclables from the Homeless, doesn't have 800K just lying around.

Could you come up with a more unrealistic idea?

If you had been investing since you were 18 this would be something obtainable. Maybe the younger guys in their 20's can start investing/saving for the golden hobby years.

well the only thing I have been investing in since I was 18 has been this hobby. Spend more in it monthly then my student loan repayments and 401k contributions combined and don't have any intentions to change a thing. Actually I don't think I could if I wanted to. Maybe a thread on sexual addictions should be the next topic. Every time I try to walk away new blood on Eros keeps pulling me back in.
