Take yourself to Proper and find you a gentleman.  If you can't sell your personality sitting at any bar it's just not in the cards. I let them approach me. Wear what you feel comfortable in. Be you. Laws of attraction.  

I recommend going on a date with yourself.  They will think you're lonely. This is the best way to find a fast friend in any area you desire. You are the best advertisement.  

I've had a high success rate in my lifetime & will always love the Art of seduction.  

I met a man at the bar inside the mall in Virginia when touring with a gf. She just shut herself and was cleaning up in the bathroom. Meanwhile I am making friends for life at the bar. I met a lovely gentleman who dated me after buying me lunch and drinks. We become long term friends and I rented his luxury condo in San Diego for many years before I started my tribe.

I think 🤔 it's worth a shot. You're educated it takes intelligence, common sense, and street smarts. Obviously not trying to get busted, so know what you're going to say when asked the questions. Confidence is key. Everywhere has an ATM close by walking distance.

I’ve noticed this. The only dates I seem to regularly get in DC are outcalls for out of towners. Men who live in northern VA and Tysons are much more active in the hobby for some reason.
