When a Good Girl Goes Bad ?confused_smile

I saw (and reviewed) a provider in November last year out in Ohio.  She had a couple of good reviews and seemed OK on the phone so I booked and everything worked out very well.  I stand by my review of that session.  I figured I would see her again when I returned.  However, recently a review was posted that claimed she flat out ripped a guy off.  She countered on her BP ad that he was a liar and just out to make her look bad for whatever reasons he may have had.  Given my personal experience with her and the fact that the guy had only posted one other review, I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.  Now a second review has been posted alleging similar behavior. This time the reviewer has a lot more credibility and at this point I've written her off as a potential revisit.  My question is, in the event of greatly differing reviews, or in this case a marked change in reviews, when is it time to cross someone off the list ?  What criterion do you use ?   Just sort of curious on others' thought process.

IMHO you were right to cut that off. If it was one review like you said some people just don't click but with a second following it seems like a good cross off.

Me if I see more than 2 bad reviews on a her page I won't see her. When a lady goes from 8s and 9s to say 2s 3s or ripoff status I would steer clear indeed

I would say, to mark a girl off a list if a pattern starts forming of her ripping guys off or giving poor service. Yes as providers we dont always get along with every guy that walks thru our door, but there is a difference from no chemistry and straight ripping off a guy.

Hmmm this is kinna tuff one. I think I would spend a little time talking to her on the phone to get a feel on how shes doing. I would also be cautious about seeing, but if my experiece with was really good, I may would wait a little longer before seeing again.

I would tend to agree with the last couple of posts.  Watch future reviews and most importantly talk to her and make your own assessment.

It seems like you know what to do - ascertain the credibility of the reviewers.  Listen to Sidney - she seems to be a straight shooter.

I tend to go with the frequent reviewers' comments--especially those who regularly review in the 8 plus category. If that reviewer is low on a person and there are other low reviews--that pretty much ends it for me.

I'm with Hawk & Sid on this one, and disagree with Drew and Ready.

For me, the first thing is the basic services offered and consistency of the reviews (less so the absolute numbers). Then I check sample reviews making sure to hit highs and lows, but mostly the in-between reviews. I also like the more detailed reviews and look for behavior clues there.

Nothing more useless than a review that recaps the provider profile and nothing more...

Since you've seen her and had a good time, I would be more willing to pass off the bad reviews.  Talk to her and try to get a feel for how she is now and if anything changed since you saw her.

If it was someone who you had not seen, then you need to take more stock of the reviews.  Is there a consistent declining trend.  What is the history of the reviewers (check other reviews they've written).  How many reviews had the person written.

In general, if I had a good time with her I'd probably see her again.  If I haven't, I'd stay away.

And it went well, I can't think of why you would trust reviews over your own experience. It sounds as though you can talk to her. If anything in the conversation confirms the change/strangeness mentioned in the reviews, then you might decide to pass.

But you know best. Listen to the man inside.

Not to be overly pessimistic but people can change.  I seem to remember a formerly well-reviewed provider who went on a long hiatus, and later came back to the game only to be accused of running the "angry boyfriend at the door" scam.  I could dig up the name by searching the board archives if I had more time - her name was something like "xxxx J".

In the end, I agree with the others who say to go with your gut.
