At this point, some providers are asking three or more of the below. I hope nobody is doing this, it’s absurd and opens you up to blackmail or worse:

P411 (not valid)
References (not valid)

But…

First name, last name, age
Phone number
LinkedIn  
Published articles
Deposit (which isn’t a big deal but leaves an electronic trace to name, etc)
Work Email and phone call to work number
Photo ID
Selfie
And much more and all of the above.

Please tell me no guy here is dumb enough to do this.

Anybody asking for this should be a redflag, imo.

This horse has been beaten to a pulp. Simple solution: if you don't like the screening requirements for whatever reason you might have just move on.

Everyone here is an adult. They should be aware that they are engaging in an illegal act AND that even aside from screening *they are exposing themself to many potential risks* -- including blackmail even without giving such information at screening time. If you are so worried about potential risks fucking stay home. But this bullshit lecturing others on what they should or should not do is getting pathetic. If you need to keep pushing this discussion at least put it where it belongs: on the Newbie board.

I signed up for p411 7 years ago and don't bother with providers who won't accept it. I sent cash in an envelope to Canada along with a note matching me to my references and now I have 30+ okays and never worry about screening.

Whining about a provider's requirements is some little bitch shit. It's always cost/screening/deposit. I don't do any of them outside my comfort zone but I don't whine about it.

Others have nothing to lose.  

I don't get this. Why would you send cash and the note for references to Canada? The most I've ever needed to to is tell them what hotel and room I am in and no additional information given. Pay when I see the girl.

He sent it to P411 for membership. One of the smartest things I've ever done in the hobby.

I was reading a review and buddy says "screening was easy, all I had to do was send them a photo of my driver's license." 😱😱😱

Unless you're single and self employed you've got something to lose lol.

So that was how he paid for his P411 all those years ago. Okay.

I also feel a lot of this industry has gone to shit. Maybe it’s the lack of men running things tbh, not that they were all good. I definitely screen but also understand the need for discretion. After all that’s why people started doing this to begin with right. And then the deposits, wtf?? Unless you’re booking an absurdly long distance appointment I don’t understand why. People need to cancel sometimes. Get over it. Yes it messes up the money they thought they were going to make that day but that’s life in any service industry. Not to mention the strict tax laws now imposed on cashapp and such apps. Just stupid in my opinion.  

Then the amount of unblurred photos out there, like the people looking to arrest people don’t use facial recognition software to pull their dmv profiles.  

And the rates. Tbh y’all guys need to quit telling the girls they should be charging more. If you feel that way, tip well.  But now the rates are ridiculous and girls are just asking too much. We are a group of independents so they set their own rates to an extent but even I’m like uhh you’re not gonna be as busy as you’d like to be at that rate.  

Idk, just my opinion but things have definitely changed in the last 10 years.

Do you really think there's any difference in you "lecturing" someone to move on, and someone telling others they should or should not do X?

Screening Is for your mutual protection. Ladies are just as nervous for their first time meet & greets. There are crazy folk out there that need to be screened out.

Well said! Hear, hear!!! I've had at least one independent and one agency poo poo P411 as a screening source when I reached out to them. They had to be f@cking kidding me. What's a monger to do? Keep moving to the next agency/ provider...

maybe you see several people at the same place so a cancelation doesnt affect you.  

I only book a location to meet with whoever booked me, as I do not meet more than 1 per location... so yes, a cancelation does affect me me bc I loose the time driving there, going back home, the money of the hotel and gas spend.

Well we don’t book locations for one client. And stay busy enough that if one does cancel someone is right there to take their place 💁🏼‍♀️
