is hotels that will offer a "day rate". Check in early am and out late afternoon. Usually 1/2 the over night rate. You will have to talk to the manager and ask. Not all offer it but if you ask you may be surprised.

I don't think you are going to find hotels that rent by the hour. Your best bet would be to pay a little more an go thru Priceline.
