Just wondering what others will  prefer as i usually prefer Agency. In my opinion, Agency is safer and providers are more professional.  What everybody think or experienced?

1.Indies who use/share an apt have been targeted for busts many times in the past.

2. Safest option appears to be:
Guy books a hotel, and meets his guest to escort her to his room.
Downside is extra cost of the room, and any extra outcall fee which she may charge.

Well I disagree about both safer and more profesional. Now don't get me wrong I use a well known local agency quite often. Agency girls tend to be high volume in nice hotels wich can attrack attention. They are also new to the biz and can make mistakes. Indies tend to have been around the block and know how to handle themselves. Most indies got there start with a agency by the way. Just my two cents Pattaya

I agree.  Unless I am sure of the provider...I prefer going through an Agency because I can choose.  If you go out to a dinner...if the only thing on the menu is a burger...it better be a damn god burger.  When you go through an agency, you have you choice of Steak, Swordfish, Crab, Lboster, Chicken, etc etc.

Agencies...especially established agencies...have some security.  I would bet that an agency with 5 or more years and an established clientele isn't going to magically be LE one day.  But with an independent...again, unless she's well established...you have no clue.  Maybe I watch too much James Bond, but I always fear that the indy will be a double operative waiting to ambush me.  She could be LE, she could be ugly, she could be laying there like a dead fish all hour long, or she could have a weiner.  I don't know, but I don't have an Agency standing behind her to be sure.

That is why you do your research. I am not saying you should blindly call some EROS add. But if you research the girl you can have a fair level of confidence.

Hands down, well established Indies are a million times better than agencies.

You can't categorize all agencies, just as you can't categorize all indy's. It depends on the particular provider that you see.

If you use established agencies as examples, then you should use established independents as well for comparison. Between well-established agencies and well-established independents, independents are safer. And a well-established independents tend to be more reliable than a provider of a well-established agency.

To me, the problem is not that an agency could turn out to be LE. The problem is that LE tends to target agencies; it is a known policy. I don't think you want to get caught up in a sting.

I agree, and I used to be like that. Used to get extremely horny and would end up calling agency to get a quick fuck. After taking a year of hiatus from the hobby due to health reasons, I started my second inning a little differently. Now I plan...plan...plan.... I am much happier with that approach

I'm a veteran hobbyist. Have been around since DC-Eden days. I've seen agency after agency fold. Thankfully, I've never found my personal information compromised.

I'm an indy, I started with an Agency... and they only wanted me to turn and burn.  I don't agree with that mentality at all as a gfe provider.

As an Indie, it is my professional reputation on the line.  I'm not a junkie, loser or degenerate, I am running a business and act accordingly.  

I have heard over and over, LE targets agencies and if that happens... what if it's your go to? game over, are you going to trust another agency?

I have a great appreciation for those who know how to do their homework and have an appreciation for great customer service/reviews.

Plan ahead, do your research to pick the right experienced indie.  Agencies are preferred LE targets.  An indie is too little bang for the LE buck.  When the agency disappears or is busted, your info is at risk.  I would add that I almost always avoid hotels, too.  At a hotel you are potentially exposing your activity to a much wider audience, many of whom are often in cahoots with LE or have some other axe to grind.  I have never been disappointed with a well-researched indie.  Last-minute, impulsive hobbying is just asking for trouble.  Risk control:  plan ahead or jerk off.  Simple.

Please point to one example that a well respected DC agency in the area has been busted in the last 5 years.

"Well-established" is less so. I can count several (>5) well-established agencies in the last 6 years. I would rather not name them here. Unless I misunderstand your post, I'm surprised that you don't know any. Perhaps you should do a search of this board.

Realy then name them if they already got busted then you are not outing them

What lion was trying to say is lot of indies host their incall in an apartment, and that is much safer than hotel.  That is true, however, it will severely limit your choices, and you will almost never be able to see any visiting ladies - unless they do outcall of course.  If someone stops you coming out of the hotel, just STFU and keep walking.

Might be a bad idea to start down this slippery slope, sleeping dogs don't bite or worse.

On the agency and the Indie's reputation. Some Indies are unreliable, and some agencies are just as bad. If I don't see anyone I like at agencies, I head to Indies. Hotels are not a problem with me. I love it when there are conventions and get-togethers. Walk through the crowd like you belong. If you're lucky, there might be a buffet table nearby. When the hotel is packed with a lot of guests, LE might not bother that day.

If the hotel is empty, I stay outside or lounge in the restroom. Never enter the elevator if someone trails behind you. If I'm spooked, after the session, I leave via the stairs to a back exit. It's easier taking the stairs when you're going down.

Apartments can be a little tricky. I once visited a massage provider, and a neighbor complained to me as I knocked on the door! He was visibly annoyed and mentioned the heavy traffic of people going in and out of the place. I kept calm and said I was visiting family. I never went back there again. Apartments can be riskier than hotels.

With the use of TER and research, I've found agencies and independents to be professional and safe. I like independents because there is an opportunity to establish a long term friendship. I’ve a friend I met in 2005 through TER; she became an all time favorite. She’s now retired. Once a year, I send her a gift and from time to time, we get together. I like agencies because, when friends move on, the agencies fill in. On that note, I’ve found it easier to establish friends by working with independents as opposed to agencies. Anyway, both have been good for me.
