Help with getting verified/screened by agency

Hi, I've been hobbying for about a year now and in this past year have seen a fair amount of providers through BP. Now, I kind of want to treat myself by booking a provider through an agency but most, if not all of them, require references or something similar in order to be verified. As mentioned, I have only seen providers through BP and typically I always try for something new so I don't have a regular provider to give a reference. What should I do?

...the BP girls if OK to use them as a reference, and make sure there is some way they can remember you.  "He gave you a gift card to iTunes".  Something.

Start working backwards on TER trying to find girls you have seen, and write reviews for them.  Build your rep.  Note that I tried this at one point and it was practically impossible, most of them I just couldn't work back to.  But you may find some.  If you do, review them (never too late), email the girl and send her a link to the review and ask if you can use her as a reference, them moving forward you are "the guy who reviewed her on TER who blah blah blah" as part of her identifying you.

Over time, you will end up having ladies of better and better reputation as your references and all the doors open so long as you continue to treat them great.

Did you actualy suggest Writing a review for a girl and then get the girl to approve u as a reference based on ur wring the review? that is dangerous! Get common sense. Plus no reputable providers accept any references from BP providers.
U have been spreading some misinfo here lately. Watch out

I disagree, apparently you have forgotten taht it is difficult when you are starting out in this hobby.  Most start with BP, and those girls are the initial references not because it is ideal, but because it is what you have to work with.

Find a reputable provider who will accept those references, now she is a reference and you build your  rep.

Can I assume you are the dickhead who responded to my M&G message who was then removed from the planning committee due to your ass-hattedness?  Ya thought so.

Yes, nearly every thread on TER seems to have at least one post from you so I read ya all the time...

Post much?

I read all the time, and I know that "Ya" isn't a word. I think you meant "Yeah". You had the high ground until you launched into "Can I assume you are the dickhead ..." You were trying to be helpful to the original poster and I thought that you had some really good suggestions. Be nice to the ladies and make yourself memorable - the gift card is nice. Or if you really feel like you hit it off see her a second time without waiting for another hockey season to roll around. She's more likely to remember someone she's seen more than once. And politely ask if you can use her as a reference. Doctor Jayee's comment about no reputable provider accepting BP providers references is crap because I've used them when I was starting out building a reputation. I've met a number of really nice ladies through BP, you just need to be careful and make sure that they have reviews. If you do your homework you can find ladies on BP with quite a few TER reviews and their own website, which should be sufficient for many providers in deciding whether to accept them as a reference. So up to this point I thought you were doing great, the doctor was the schmuck offering no help just criticism, with an odd little pseudo threat thrown in (Watch out). You started with a reasonable response, it was polite and factual, but then you went juvenile for some reason. And then you followed that by doubling down with the read much sarcasm that was a complete misfire. Honestly, it's really hard to put someone down as not very smart when you're defending your use of a non-word, and seem to think that you really had used the word correctly. You'd have probably done better by calmly hitting the doctor on his snotty little put-down of some very nice ladies who happen to choose to use BP, and just left it at that.

You probably don't care about my opinion, but I think all of us should try to not get our back up so quickly on these forums, it doesn't really serve a purpose. Go back and look at the response that you got to your M&G speculation. They started out calm and factual, and then threw in an emotional response that really should have been worded more along the lines of a polite request to not speculate if you don't know. Now this is coming from someone within a team that had been working very hard as volunteers to pull together a very large event that had a lot of built in stress. Oh the horror, they lost their cool and have now been deemed a dickhead. So what's your excuse? If you're going to offer your opinion on the number of threads you seem to jump in on, you're going to draw fire once in a while. Opinionated and thin skinned isn't very appealing. Just my two cents.
