I'd say a 3rd is too much ... 2nd call is okay but really if I miss you the first time there is a really good reason so I actually prefer an vm saying when is okay to call back or do not call back and/or when they can get back to me etc. I don't like texts especially from a person I don't know (just numbers) is weird to me. I never have a full VM box... I delete them as soon as I get them.
Often this hobby is driven by impulse. The call is made and the anticipation begins. A message left on a voicemail or a mailbox is full and not taking anymore messages. Now the waiting begins. ....and continues.......and continues. Does a second call to an unresponsive number start to get "stalk-ish"? Third? Tenth? Would like to hear both sides of the story, if there is input.
I hate VM! I leave a message on my cell that says "Im sorry I do not check voicemail, please text me or call me back."
Alot of the time not enough info is left on VM. Some guys are good and will say "Hi this is John, We've never met before. I would like to meet, today is Tues and its 1:20pm. Please only call me back within the hour."
But some just say "Call Me" or leave a number.
I feel uncomfortable not knowing if Im gonna catch a guy at a bad time, with his SO or whatever. So I dont like using VM at all. It saves hassle.
I welcome Text messages though. I find them easier to deal with. But thats just me. Alot of providers dont like text.
I dont mind guys calling repeatedly. It does get a little weird sometimes though. When a guy calls every 2 mins for a hour or so repeatedly. Then I tend to think that something is wrong with them lol! And I put them in my phone under "NTY".
