Still a few days out but we could have a reasonably big snow storm here Fri-Sun.  Most of the weather folks are on board with the standard disclosure that things can change in four days.   A good like on FB is a guy named Stormy's Discussions

...close to a Metro stop, and within walking distance of a few upscale hotels.  

   I am so looking forward to this weekend!  I will put my snow shoes on, and walk the Mall!  And, watch football!

Snowmagaddon Metro suspended all but underground service for a few days, so if someone was trying to come in from the suburbs they'd still have a problem.

...stranded down town, and could walk to my place, or me to theirs.  I do believe that the DMV will get enough snow to close the above ground Metro service.

Just get snowed in with your ATF. What could be more fun that being forced indoors with a real sweetie of choice, gentle snow coming down outside, roaring fire in the fireplace inside, having to cuddle up close to keep each other warm because the electricity is out .... oops that last part not so good. Are discounts available for weather-induced long indoor dates?

I have told my gentlemen that I will waive cancellation fees, should they wake up this weekend, and cannot come into the district, or are snowed in, in their neighborhood.  Many smaller neighborhoods in the district, do not get plowed till it thaws. If they have forwarded a deposit, they can use said deposit for a future date, without being penalized.  I am offering this, through Monday.

  I have been in DC now for quite some time, and have found the gentlemen of the DMV to be quite generous when it comes to cancellations due to Mother Nature.  It's always nice to wake in the morning, and find that a gentleman has sent to a gift card; big or small.

  Keep warm, and safe this week, and weekend.

I never would've thought there were Fools who would actually pay Deposits, much less Cancellation fees,  for events beyond their control... but Thank Heavens you are willing to waive them!  I'm sure they are counting their Lucky Stars!

so could paralyze a lot of the DC area.  Let's not kid ourselves, we can't deal well with 3-4 inches of snow, this is forecast to be 12-20 inches.  I hope Kelly has set the tone above, if a guy is snowbound & simply can't get to an appt., don't penalize him.  And my sympathy to the ladies that are visiting for a few days, may have a bunch of cancellations, & may have travel problems.  Everyone take care & be safe!
