considering I work and hate to go at the end of the workday I have been going weekends.

Weekends for me: easy parking, less traffic, more time.

For me this depends on the timing.

I don't think it's a DC thing for me but it's in general.  
There are times where my weekends are ideal for people however my normal schedule is during the week so in my case weekdays have been overall more in demand when I look at the bigger picture.  

Weekends are always fun to play so I'm up for it though :-

I prefer outcalls, I can get a room on Fri or Sat night for 1/3 the price of the weekday rate, it's got the anticipatory excitement of an old fashioned weekend date, and I don't have to go to work the next morning. All makes it the right timing as far as I'm concerned!

This is interesting, because some cities - like Chicago, where I live, guys like to sneak away during the weekdays when they can play hookie from work and go undetected by families. But It seems the verdict in DC is that you guys like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the work week!
