Hi!

I'm Virginia from Phoenix and I'm planning a working vacation to DC at the end of the month. Can anyone help me out with advice regarding hotels to stay at, or to avoid? Any sections of town I should steer clear of?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to stay in D.C.  Dupont circle is a very popular place to stay.  Lots of hotels, and easy to get to my Metro, and good restaurants near by.  You want to stay in the N.W. part of the city.  If you are staying in the suburbs, Tysons Corner is a very popular area. Are you coming to the rally on the 30th?

You could stay  near Capitol hill and be within walking distance.  Dupont Circle is a quick metro ride away.  It sounds like a good time. I am wondering how many hobbiest and providers are coming to see John Stewart and Stephen Colbert. It could be a good chance for a M&G after rally party.

My experience as an indy and as an agency owner in the past is that no matter what area of town we stay in DC the gents are never fully happy because of parking or because it always seems too far so unfortunately I feel I can't win on that one :)
