Not trying to be a shill for TER, as a matter of fact several of my posts the last few weeks have been complaining about certain TER practices. However, if you spend anytime or money in search of great ladies, becoming a VIP member seems to be a no brainer.

After spending a lot of money and having several sub par experiences, I joined TER and it has made a big difference. The biggest benefit to me is that for the most part, with some variance due to ymmv, you know what to expect. For instance, you know if you can expect kissing (and what type), you know about daty (yea or nay), you know about type of oral... Just reading the discussion discussion forum and general section of reviews can be misleading. For example, a few days ago a guy wrote about his atf (and gave her a 9 for performance), well you read the vip details and she does not dfk or do a bbbj. Personally,I think the scoring is poorly done, but it does not really impact me. But if you are not a vip member you might spend a lot of money visiting this lady and be disappointed with the experience.

I have also found that there is a lot more imho out there than I realized. Guys talk about hot babes or pretty young things, but when I do some digging they don't look pretty or hot to me, and do not provide the type of experience I desire. I am sure many people have the same reaction to the ladies I find attractive. So it is hard to respond to many of the generic questions that pop up from guys with no reviews on the board, you just don't know their types. That is why it is important to be able to search yourself for the type of lady that looks and performs high on your scale.

So, my advice (which is probably not worth much) is to become a vip member and then spend a few minutes to contribute reviews. I find the people on this board to be generous with their help, but have found that to be especially true when you provide information in return.

I agree! And the best benefit of VIP membership is the TER private e-mail system. That is where the most accurate information is exchanged on the cutest, best performing girls with the best rates! The e-mail system alone justifies the costs of a VIP membership!
IMHO! :)

I agree with JC 111%    :)   He make a good argument for VIP membership, which I can't really improve upon. And, I'm not affiliated with TER (and even occasionally disagree with their actions), but have found it an invaluable resource. I don't leave home without it, to coin a phrase!

VIP membership is only $20/mo, less than the average phone bill, TV cable bill, even water bill! And compared to donations, it's a small investment.

The "details" sections of reviews are the most important for doing research. The intro and general info section of providers' reviews are helpful, but the details section allows you to see whether things that are important to you are available. By the way, I've noticed the general info sections (the searchable database) is not always accurate, another reason to check a variety of detailed reviews.

DC's also right about "TER mail". You can ask reviewers or board posters questions, or just seek advice privately. I've found VIP members helpful and willing to share info.

...when my VIP expired, but that part on the iBill page about "Gibralter" made me a little nervous. Haven't really used my ccCard to make overseas purchases.

Did I misread it?

I've been a VIP member since last summer and haven't had any problems. I've ordered stuff from all over, so I wouldn't worry about locations. IBill is a reputable company as well. Check out their website (Ibill.com).

If you are still concerned, use a credit card that you don't use much normally, so you can instantly see if anything inappropriate crops up (I doubt that it will, though).

General information: any time an erroneous charge appears on your card (regardless of the cause), just write to the credit card company and request it be removed. They will check it out and credit your account within a few weeks. I've had duplicate billings and other problems dealt with like that very easily in the past--unrelated to TER, though.
