At some point I decided I would never go higher than $250 for an hour with a provider.  For that price I've been with beautiful women (IMHO) with both Greek and CIM.  I'm a big fan of capitalism and getting what you can get, but what advantages does the $300-350/hr provider offer over the $250/hr provider?

Not to many good $250 ladies advertising out there. Please make sure she "grandfather" you in when she raises her rates..lol

$250? hahah, maybe on Craigs List, possibly, but more often $300 plus. And that is just CL.

In all candor I have to say I have not found that much difference. Some teriffic girls were priced at $$.5. The standard for most is in the  $$$ range, though, as you point out, and for that reason your choices are much greater. I wouldnt let a $$.5 limit hold me back though if I could swing it financially and found someone who really intriged me. You may just be missing something very worthwhile.
Besides as Smarty says we dont know how good weve got it here price wise. It could definitely be worse.

I took into consideration my expenses and those of my regular friends. I want it to be affordable for them and it offers us more chances to play!
Plus I offer "a sports lovers discount"..and the guys could save .5 if they bring me a souvenir..they always bring the souvenir BUT most still leave the full tender!

I don't see providers below a certain price floor, thinking they can see less clients and appeal to a wealthier clientele. It is a safety issue for me. Just another level of protection.

There are many providers who can deliver the pops for a good prices. Realize they are non GFE safe sex types. No kissing, not even on the face, the blow jobs are covered. If you want greek or other fetishes expect to pay extra. Many are low profile. They will have you changing condoms left and right.

The difference is in the choices.  There may be 2 or 3 times more choices if you are willing to pay $$$ or above.  But the appeareance and satisfaction may not differ much between $$1/2 and $$$ in DC metro area.  You can get great satisfaction to dissapoinment in both price ranges.  Generally, local incalls in the VA and MD suburbs of DC charge lower rate than visting to DC cosidering the very high hotel costs.

I have had some excellent experiences priced as low as $220.  The $250 providers are often just as good or better than higher priced providers, but opening up your price range allows you a wider variety of flavors to choose from.

The prices might be lower if the girls had less hassle, and fewer no shows to deal with.

I've had great experiences at $200/hr and poor ones at $400/hr. I usually try to book at least 90 minutes or more and it almost always costs a little more. You don't always get what you pay for though but I think you're limiting yourself. If you want to make it with Melissa Wolf or Amanda Foxxx you're going to have to pony up more dough than for some unknown gal on Craigs List.

I've seen some terrific providers for $250.  The only reason to pay more is if you leave the DC area (we are spoiled here with our prices) or for variety.  I generally don't see a provider more than once or twice, so I will go up to $300 so there are more to choose from.

If you read enough reviews, look who comes into town and how much people charge you should know that price determines nothing.

Research and legitimate reviews and reliable reviewers will keep you from wasting money no matter what the cost.

Actually, go to Windsor Ontario in Canada. Prostitution is legal there, and you can get a total GFE for $120 - $160 hour American money.  For one thing, it is simply much less expensive, and secondly, the exchange rate does help a bit.

Before I got into this hobby I assumed Vegas was the place to be for this.  I've read a bunch of reviews from the Vegas page on TER and it seems like the worst place for the hobby.  The girls are so expensive and so many of them rip you off.  I guess they pray on the amateurs.

The first rule of Vegas is NEVER, EVER use an agency. There are NONE that will treat you fairly. And, more often than not you are aksing for B & S, Upselling etc. in your room. So with 40,000 room on the central strip tourists are prime. I would not say Amateur my friend, just tourist in general.

Stick with the local independents ALWAYS. But yes, you will pay more. What's wrose and not considered by tourists, is local hobbyists here live mostly in an outcall world, where when I travel and especially in DC, it is a mostly incall world. Big difference, because not only are the donations higher, if you are local you got to go get a room also. Not always, but that is a big geographic difference.

What in the world is this about ? Pops are part of a good relationship. Things get really good on the 3rd round. Nice to have it feel all up and being massaged by pleasure muscle that is very slick and wet.

If a provider decides to go the safe sex route she should not feel bad about people putting her down. A provider might be in a relationship and not kiss because they are concered about there SO. I have been with a few BI providers who don't even do daty. They want to protect their female partner.

Others feel that kissing, daty, bbbj are too intimate. They don't want feelings to develop between them a clients. This is one of the many reasons why there is such a high incidence of post traumatic stress syndrome in our hobby.

Some of the best known touring Indies are at $$$ or plus.  Examples: Erin O'Brien, Sedona Weaver, and Netmichelle.  A couple readily come to mind who have $$$ rates (but may offer discount to early bookers when on tour): Angie Renee, Missy.  Azymystiques is an agency with some highly demanded providers: Pressley, Rio, for example.  High end MC goes in that range.  Best example is Sofia at $$$$$.  All of the above are very good to excellent plus.  Not going to find too many medium to high end touring ladies under $$$.  Once in a while, one might discover a "diamond in the rough".  As others have said however, being at $$$ or above is no guarantee of quality.  It depends upon the particular lady.

Two Russians are walking down the street and see each other wearing IDENTICAL sable coats. The "Old Russian" was boasting proudly that she got her coat for $300 dollars and the "New Russian" replies I got mine for $5,000 so mine is better.

I have found very few providers at 250 who are great quality. Yeah, they are out there, but not as many as in the 300-350 range. 350 is my self-imposed limit, but there is a 400 lady locally that I'd like to find some time with. I just have to budget my hobby fund better.
