Where are some happening places where I could take mi lady out and have some fun?  

Location, not too far from Tysons.

Upscale preferred but I'd like to hear all advice as long as they aren't seedy / dangerous.

You will need to go to DC or perhaps Arlington.

Ritz-Carlton has a nice piano bar where you can sip on wines and martinis.. But that's about it. You'd have more fun at Georgetown or other places in DC.

There was a thread which I tried and failed to find on the subject..There were a few places in Tysons but in general Arlington between the Ballston and Court House METRO stops is your best bet. The area around the Clarenden METRO has a lot going on at night for sure in Arlington. If youre staying in Tysons Corner, a cab wouldnt be too awful..maybe $25+ or -..

Panache isn't terrible, and the bar at Wildfire at Tyson's 2 can sometimes be lively.  There isn't much going on around there at night.
