That said - happened , a lot, to one of my ATF a while back. As I told her, nobody steals the pics of the average looking women, only the most beautiful. So ...there is that sweetie.
I just came to the attention that someone is using my pictures on DC backpage ad, and I want to let you guys know that it is NOT me posting that ad. I am furious that the lady is using them and using them in my own back yard, ggggrrrr
Can't blame them for thinking your sexy pics would drum up some interest
But still it's pretty stupid to steal pics of a provider that works in that exact same area. I hope BP takes it down, at which time the scam artist will just "borrow" someone else's portfolio.
and I don't want anybody seeing the ad, thinking it is me, then encounter a different person, or worse. Who know who this person is? I dont that being associated with my name!
Hopefully the ad will come down. ah
P.S. i have taken my site down until I can figure out how to completely right click protect it.
As a programmer/web developer, I can assure you that there is no way to prevent someone from stealing your pictures. If anyone wants the technical explanations, I'm happy to oblige.
But a simpler option might just be to add your website link to every pic, and I mean like across your body or something, not just in the corner. If someone tries hard enough, they could probably Photoshop it out, but it would just be easier to pick a different provider to steal from.
...was to place a PSA ad on Back Page advising all hobbyist of the scam and that someone was using her pictures. I assume there was a cost associated with that, but gotta protect the rep as you said.
.....had a chick change her name to Mocha while she stole and was using my pics for weeks apparently (in the friggin' Bronx of all places). Great idea to right click your image. I understand why you wouldn't want to put your name or anything else other than the photog's name on it as watermarks. More people know who you are the whoever that is that's for sure.
Thank you guys for all your advice! I had also emailed backpage and for proof put my site back online where I had some of the pictures she stole. Thank you for reporting it also! I am watermarking all my pictures before I launch the site back.
sorry this is happening to you ,pretty It's so frustrating, you work to have nice photo and someone else will come and steal your work, I know what it feels!
