Hi I'm planning my first tour and I'm not sure if someone going to Arlington is really close enough or if I really need to go to D.C. As well. Also to advertise in the area do people going to Arlington advertise here in D.C. Or in Virginia and vice versa ? Thank you so much , Pollie

a lot go gentlemen hate coming into DC, so probably better off going to both places. You could try Crystal City and then DC or vice versa.  Most of NOVA is covered on the DC board, from what I can tell.  Hope this helps.  Feel free to pm me for more specifics:-)

Tysons is another option to consider.  Unfortunately, unlike D.C. or Arlington, not much to see in terms of touristy things to do.  Not very walking or METRO convenient.  Tysons has many offices that you can cater to guys that work in the area.  There are Tysons Galleria/Corner for shopping.
Good luck!

A lot of people split their tours--half Tysons/half DC. You get the loaded govt contractors in Tysons and it is also by dulles Airport. But those dudes don't want to drive to DC. And dudes in DC don't want to deal with driving to Tysons. Doesn't hurt to switch hotels anyway.

Almost all the touring ladies I see split D.C. and Tysons.  I like both, DC for a cabride nooner, Tysons for an early out session on my way home. Arlington and Crystal City are more of a pin for me.
