For a major city, DC has the worst quality of local providers. Most are over the hill, over priced and prefer being taken out on dates where hundreds of dollars are being spent on them via dinners, lavish events, on top of their hourly rate...rather than actually 'working via the traditional hotel meet'.
Pretty good description and not too far off the mark. But I would also argue pretty much the same across the United States except for New York and Los Angeles. But those are pretty big population centers and places women like to visit. Although, I've heard the LA clientele can suck.
For young, pretty, and cheap you need to travel out of the country. Canada (Montreal) being the best without having to fly across the pond.

DC has been dead for years now. The quality ones are always from previous generation, 10+ years ago. A brief look at top 25 would show that.
As the Dr. said, to me it is irrational to watch somebody eat, shop and yalk at their play time rates. Power to them.
A la carte menus, lack of respect for time, poor communication. The list goes on. It is very pathetic and may sound whiny. Unfortunately it is the truth. OTOH they also want your D/L, SSN and maiden name. Their basic email/text communication is not encrypted. Let alone protecting and shredding PII.
I am not even comparing to NY, LA or Vegas, the top markets. We would do good, if it was just a quarter of Chicago or Miami.
On the positive side, it does help preserving our bottom line dollars.

A good majority of providers do not post ads on TER. You need to follow their Twitter and get on their email list. I have plenty of emails from tours, etc. Just the new way these days.
Most independent ladies cost much more, but their service is much better. Average is between $500-700 per hour. I've seen ladies up to $1000 an hour. Victoria Secret model types. Is it worth it? For me, yes. Looks are important along with quality time together.
I also visit agencies, but the service and often ladies are lacking in some sort of way. In the end, you pay for what you get. I don't mind the extra if the experience is worth it. Sometimes it is.
