It is a good way to LE and other crazies that you don't with stalk you.

Not that long ago a bunch of TER providers stop using twitter. You might want to find out from them why the stopped. While I am at it. If you have a Facebook profile take it down.

Please avoid all social media applications!

Agreed.  Twitter...or in this case Twatter...is NOT advised.

I'm young enough to be with the times....hut I don't get all this social media.  Don't have Facebook, twitter, e-friends, any of that nonsense.

Where a few vindictive providers well tell clients the url of another provider's real face book profile with her name on it. Yet another reason not to have a Facebook profile.

Within the absolute frame work of some of the answers I could agree with their prospective however I don't.

We've used social media rather successfully as an end result. However, an end result is not a "process".

In this case, it's not WHAT you do, it's HOW you go about it is the real determinant.

You can use twitter safely and successfully as long as you take into account several things:

1) What is your client contact and screening process? Is it a lose, you don't sound like a cop, vouching system or very strict background check verification method? Never lose sight the easier it is the see you the higher risk pool you are swimming in.

2) Is your phone number on your ads, do you take late night calls or do instant appointments? Those who do I would tend to suggest twitter may be a bad idea.

3) Is your face visible in your photos? If they are, then it would be easy for any hotel clerk to recognize you if they are asked and shown a photo.

All the above have everything to do with your business process, before we even get to the twitter question.

If you have and maintain stringent business requirements first, then limit the specific information you publish, make sure all photos are face blocked and never say something stupid like : "I'm doing incalls at the Homewood Suites in Tysons" you should be fine. Make sure all accounts are done under a consistent business e-mail with absolutely no cross ties to any personal accounts. Never say anything in a tweet you wouldn't  on a public board or could be legally used against you.

You're an educated women so you get my greater conceptual points.

Have at it.

I twat as a personal journal.  I don't have it associated with a phone number or an email associated with anything else in my life.  I twat about funny instances, and do not use any specifics.  Pure hurmor!
