True, it's become all but impossible. I loved taking a sexy lunch break. I had a few regukars but they quit the business. One option is going on a sugar baby website but the quality varies as many aren't professionals though the price was good.  But that worked for a while.

So before the pandemic, I used to be able to see girls in Dupont Circle and sometimes Georgetown on a pretty regular basis. These days they are so few and far between. Is that because hotel prices have become too expensive? Now that a lot of us are back at work downtown. It would be great if girls would make themselves available near work since getting out to Tysons in the middle of the workday is very difficult for those of us who work downtown.

You mentioned Covid as part of the cause and I agree. However, I believe the migration to Tyson's has just as much to do with DC's crime rate and parking availability. Metro used to be a great option, but it isn't all that safe anymore. Finally, hotel rates in DC have skyrocketed and that must figure in to where companions decide to visit. Personally, I wish more would visit BWI. Easy access to the airport and reasonably priced hotels with lots of parking.

Lol what??? Stop watching Fox News bruh. That shit will rot your brain. It aint got shit to do with crime rate. DC is as safe as anywhere else. Besides, no provider is comparing crime stats when she goes to book a hotel. Let's be serious for just one second please 😂

No DC is NOT as safe as anywhere else. I worked in DC for 30 years. If you can't recognize the increased crime rate over time, then a serious conversation with you seems pointless. Either that or maybe you were the spokesperson for the recently resigned Metro Police Chief?

It's hilarious you think this validates your point. "I'm a pants-shitting suburbanite who brought my paranoia to work with me everyday for 30 years. Of course it's dangerous!"
If you can't recognize the increased crime rate over time
DC crime rates have been at historic lows, so just what in the fuck are you talking about? Lol not only are you petrified of your own shadow, you're shit at math. 😂

Your denials may be clinical and/or you never read the Washington Post. The only reason crime has declined is on account of the recent National Guard deployment. My so-called "paranoia" goes back to the original note that the District isn't as safe as it was. So deny to your heart's content. You'll still be wrong.

Lmao you can spot an inbred conservative from a mile away. Yall have this immunity to facts that makes you hilariously wrong about everything.

You may have ODed on Breitbart and Newsmax, but you've never read the Washington Post in your life 😂. If you had, you'd know it was reporting historic lows in crime rates as late as 2024 - well before your pedo ass idol took office. In fact, when there as a spike in the wake of pandemic, it was noted that it was STILL at historic lows.

Stop ODing on right wing rage porn and come back to reality, diaper boy

You're doubling down on being wrong. And the fact that you try to cover it up with juvenile barbs suggests you are really immature (hence the alias) or in serious need of professional help. You should see someone sooner rather than later.

Lol I explained why you were wrong AND insulted you dipshit, no one's covering anything up. *You*, on other other hand, are deflecting by whining about insults. Just because you can't keep from wetting your pants doesn't mean the crime hasn't been historically low for several years

Beg to differ.
DC's youth are out of control.  I've had multiple friends and acquantances ride the RED line Metro in the middle of the day, and get harrassed by the low lifes....  Why else did Metro finally get off its ass and start to install those tall gate barriers?  It has nothing to do with Fox news.

Parking is horrendous, eating out is more expensive than VA or MD, and hotels are as much as going to the beach during peak summer season.....

Then you add in the shitty bicyclists.  I was dropping off someone at the front door of the Hyatt not too far from Georgetown and a dipshit cyclist yelled that I can't park there....  in a drop off zone?  I literally had moved luggage to the curb and was getting back in my car.  I yelled at the clown and the old coot actually had the audacity to look back at me.

DC just isn't worth it.  Obviously, providers seem to think so too!

Whether real or a perception, safety is an concern for many women when it comes to DC. I know a number of touring ladies that will no longer host in DC and stick to Tyson's and/or BWI.

"DC's youth are out of control 😱😱😱😱" jesus christ the melodrama 🙄

Oddly enough I've only heard this from terminally online johns johnsplaining why they're not finding as many incalls in DC. On the other hand, I've never heard a single provider cite crime as a reason to not do incall in the district. I've heard price, I've heard elevator keys, I've heard ICE/National Guard/Police, I've heard a preference for outcall...but I've yet to hear any actual provider pissing her pants about crime rates. It's funny how yall are so confident weighing in on shit you know fuck all about

People who complain about proximity in this business are weird as fuck to me. Like are you looking for the closest place to grab a coffee or do you want an intimate encounter with a human being you're attracted to??

You have the chance to meet a lovely girl who will satisfy all of your intimate desires without requiring a commitment or even a getting-to-know-you period....and you're complaining that you have to leave your neighborhood to get to her? Come the fuck on man lmao

I see your point - BUT.  As a happy and secure DC resident a one hour appointment with a lady in Tyson's can easily require several or more hours of my time with roundtrip travel factored in.  Even midday the beltway sucks.
For those apartment/hotel based Asian or Latina operations I'd welcome a regular rotation of ladies in one of the gazillion condos, apartments or hotels the city is filled with.

Damn it might take you a few hours to enjoy an intimate encounter with someone you're attracted to?? Brutal

This has always been my problem with Tyson's.  I live/work in NW DC.  And the reality is that a one hour appointment in Tysons can turn into a 3-4 hour chunk of time.

I was spoiled for a longtime as one very popular Tyson's lady use to frequently do incalls very close to my home.  But she's focused on her own space in VA and rates risen a lot.

You are spending 500-1000 bucks for a good time.... why sweat a parking garage?

Im kinda suprised one of the apartment based agencies haven't picked a spot in the Wisconsin or Conn Ave Corridors.

I live in DC and prefer going to Tyson's.

I prefer mid morning or late morning appointments and there's little to no traffic. Why would you even be taking the beltway?

I returned to your lovely city and split my time between Tyson's Corner and DC (DuPont Circle). Despite the cold (how do y'all manage lol), I was greeted with such a warm welcome that I am already planning my next visit in the spring! Would love to be your private oasis in the city or the burbs.

To answer your question, the hotel prices in DC are consistently higher than Tyson's Corner. For my last visit, my DC location was nearly twice as much as my Tyson's Corner location for almost the same number of nights. Insane! Since it takes more to break even, let alone profit, many ladies would rather go to an area where that is not so difficult. Or raise their rates to increase profits.

Someone mentioned crime being a deterrent. I thankfully can say I have never felt unsafe. But I am not local and have never used the Metro, so take that how you will. I do however completely agree that there is a need for options in the city. Dealing with hours of commute time after a couple hours of fun would definitely take away from the experience. With costs and travel in mind, I cannot imagine many ladies accommodating last minute requests unless they already have an incall in the city. Especially if the request is for 30 mins or an hour. I would suggest prebooking as well in advance as possible. This is especially true for touring providers.

Thanks for the intro! And I'm sure you melted away the winter bleakness here.  Have a nice holiday.

Perhaps our paths will cross one day. Until then, I hope you have a happy holiday too!

Agree with the comments about taking 3 or 4 hours if going to Tysons from the District. My time is valuable too. And it is not just the time, it is the aggravation. Not knowing whether you will get there on time or back on time adds stress to what should be a relaxing interlude. Hotel prices I understand, but why not just add a few $ to the fee to equalize? The parking/crime issues are red herrings IMO.

I mean - there are peak hotel rate times in DC.  But between DayUse or a little shopping on something like priceline can still find some decent rates.   I get it - we are all shaving $ where we can.   But as someone in town I've never seen the appeal of schlepping out to Tysons.

Exactly! A recent conversation in Tysons confirmed that day use rates are available and reasonable in DC, and the smart businesswoman takes advantage of them. Should be more doing the same..

I would just note that the population of DC proper is 700,000.  The population of Fairfax county is 1.1 million.

The average household income in Fairfax is $150,000 (2024) DC.  The average household income in DC is $112,000 (2024).

There are plenty of people and cash in both places, but I personally prefer Tysons as it is easier to use credit-card free (no credit cards for parking meters, metro fares, parking garages, etc.

I'll admit I'm snobbish about not wanting to go to Tyson's.  And it's a time suck for me.  I was also spoiled for DC. based options for a long time too.

Happy New Year.

As I’m looking at planning a short visit to DC, this was really helpful for understanding the logistical concerns clients might have, in both directions. Seems like a weekday in DC proper would be appreciated a decent number of you lovely gentlemen. Thanks for sharing!

I would absolutely try and see you if you came to DC.  I am in the area. But I am still going to be in CHI in the 1st QTR of 26

It seems like the issue here is budget more than anything, because many girls I know take appointments in downtown DC.

There's a woman advertising DuPont circle right now.
I agree with Delilah that this board is quite budget sensitive.

For making me laugh with this thread.
People are scared, people have no time. People want this that . Listen there’s a Will there’s a way. And be safe stop looking at Asian amps lol
There are people who are in DuPont I love the area used to stay there.
Every city has crime just be mindful .
Don’t stop living life . Thankfully after the Covid bs people are back at work.

I know someone who has been wanting to see you in DC for several years...where's there is a will, where is the way??
