For us, who are by anyone's definition, low volume, touring takes some effort to plan. Each city is a little different as to where and when the most convenient times are for our clients.
By trying to pre-book and line things up in advance, it allows us to know who we are going to see when and coordinate our travel plans. It can be tough when things don't come together or fall apart before the trip because no one wants to sit in a hotel room in another city hoping that things come together. To all hobbiests, the best thing you can do for touring providers is make plans in advance and keep them. You will get a great performance because it is greatly appreciated! xoTori (& Nick)
Why do ladies post advertisements for 2-3 months out in the Washington DC Ads section? I went through the DC Ads section this weekend and quite frankly found it inefficient, challenging, and frustrating to find someone who was here for this weekend because a lot of the ads were for the end of the month (which I could understand) or May, June, July ... and even August. In short, I could see advertising a few weeks in advance, but more than a month? Why do ladies do this and is it effective? FYI - I found a lady whose ad was impressive and PMed her to book an appointment in May. Then she PMed me back and said that she posted the ad to see if she got enough responses to justify coming to the location? And that she hadn't made definitive plans yet? But that she would let me know.
I don't get either lol
I try to post like at least 1 week advance
I could see posting 10 days max in advance, but to me more than a month seems a little extreme. I would think that most people would feel comfortable pre-booking 1-10 days in advance and that posting months in advance ads little value. Furthermore, posting months in advance clogs the boards up and creates a frustrating experience.
Touring is very expensive and carries a risk of not being profitable. So a lot of ladies want as many pre-books as possible to make sure they get a return on investment. Obviously, timing is everything in regards to making travel arrangements. Flight prices and hotel prices fluctuate as time nears so some ladies may start advertising 2-3 months out and if they don't have adequate response as the time nears, they may cancel a date.
Also, it helps a lady plan her time in a city she's touring. I may want to check out some popular sights and attractions in whatever city I am in. I also may want to meet up with some ladies local to that area. So prebooking is essential to setting that kind of stuff up.
For instance, I tour a lot at certain times of the year because I'm able to work remotely for my day job. I need to plan around work phone calls/Taskers. I also like to go places when something is going on (e.g. festivals, special events).
Would be a waste to do all that touring not make money. And just as much as waste to be in wonderful places, with wonderful people, and amazing things to do only to stay cooped up in an incall!
I normally post a week in advance!
Or schedule my ads so that I'm able to post 2 ads before my arrival. I like to give the guys plenty of time to try and move their schedules around. As well as move their hobby funds around! A lot of gents have to be very careful about taking out money. Those pesky wives are always monitoring the accounts.
And there are things I want to do. Point. Blank. Period. Unfortunately, I'm not going to spend almost a week in a pretty interesting place waiting by my email for someone to spend time with me. Nope. My fine tail feather will be out enjoying the sights, meeting new people, and in the D.C. area specifically, visiting family in my down time. By advertising at least a month in advance, I'm giving people notice that:
1. I'm headed out that way
2. To at pre-book to get on my calendar
3. In the instance we want to see one another and we can't nail down a specific day or time within my visiting window, they can at least be pre-screened so when the opportunity arises, maybe we can make some magic happen.
The second reason I personally advertise way ahead of time is because Marketing 101 tells you that on average it takes someone to see your advert and/or website at least six to seven times for them to make a decision regarding interest. So even if a client doesn't decide to book this time, I'm on their radar and they may be invested in keeping an eye on my calendar.
Trust me, we all have a method to our madness.

to see an ad ONCE to reach out & book!!!

While some will take one look at the pictures and reviews to know, most clients do not work like that. You'd be surprised how much Marketing 101 really does apply to this world. I know some very beautiful women in this world with 10/10 reviews and it isn't a cake walk for them.
Even if you only need to see an ad once to book, the provider usually needs to post more than once for you to see it.
Because of the volume of ads on the ad board, and the fact that providers can only post once per week, it is often necesssary to start posting weeks in advance to make sure your ad is seen. I write a new ad copy to post every week on the same day around the same time, and I have regulars who like to read them who will often say the couldn't find my posting this week until they searched.
Hence the reason a lot of ladies start posting 6-8 weeks in advance of a date.

Thank you for your post. In general, I think that advertising a few weeks in advance is a good thing, but a few months is usually unnecessary. And if someone (or couple) is advertising to see if they get enough bookings to justify the trip, then they should be upfront and put that in the advertisement.
