But I'm unfortunately I'm not a member of either of those verification sites. I can provide a few references through. ;)

I've seen a lot of people talk about finding a provider that's newbie friendly or which girls are newbie friendly and I'm just hoping to get a better understanding...

I would consider myself "newbie friendly" I guess.  I'm happy to meet with a gent who doesn't have any provider references or doesn't have a membership to a board BUT I ask for other information (full name, work information, LinkedIn profile, etc) and then to bring an ID along to verify....

Does that make me newbie friendly?  Or is newbie friendly someone who doesn't really ask any screening information at all and just kind of TOFTT but in a reversed kind of way...

Just hoping to better define some of the terminology in this fascinating (but sometimes complicated) world ;-)

Most providers don't even consider those without 3 or more okay's on P411 or two solid references from TER providers with 10+ reviews, lol.

Yea, a newbie with less than two EXCEPTIONAL references and less than 2 okay's on p411 and  5 TER reviews definitely need to give up their work info. Sucks but that is the way it is/

since you have opened this topic for discussion let me pitch in my two cents.

Guys are typically not happy giving out their employment info and real names directly to escorts let alone their professional contact info on Linkedin.

You are better off using P411 and DateCheck to accept newbies. Newbies can sign on to DC and P411 and get screened by them directly. DC and P411 uses employment verification to ensure that the guy is not LE. If you are truly newbie friendly, then that would be a better way to go.

I am a member of DateCheck and P411 and use both tools.

So long as the gent has been a member for a while - and has several recent thumbs up from providers that have websites/reviews etc. then that usually does the trick completely for me.

I understand why a guy wouldn't want to give up any personal information but Date-Check and P411 both encourage us girls to do "additional screening".

DC encourages providers to look at a gents ID to confirm that some of his ID matches something within his DC and advised that if he refuses to do so or the information doesn't match that it maybe wise to cancel the appt.

P411 says pretty much the same - that there's a method of coming up with the P411 ID number and providers are encouraged to check the ID to confirm that information.  It also encourages girls to report anyone who refuses to do this to P411 and that they may suspend the account until the issue is resolved.

I don't usually go through those lengths but both sites encourage it...

Yes, you should take as much care as possible when seeing someone new.. If they say they are newbie and don't have DC or P411, then just tell them to get off their lazy stinkin' asses and pay for it... :D

Agreed.if they're serious they will go thru trouble

Newbie friendly to me does NOT mean someone who doesn't do any screening at all.  Rather it means to me someone who can be 'flexible' in their screening criteria depending what they know/find out about the prospective client - just as one who TOFTT's usually doesn't do it dartboard-style out- of-the-blue but with someone who appeals to them for whatever reason.  (It may also mean someone who is understanding and knows newbie's tend to be nervous initially, and is willing to 'Break them In.')

A Lady should ALWAYS screen, at least to the point where she feels comfortable in seeing someone.  As one provider told me, there are two main reasons for references: To check that the client is not LE; and, To reasonably assure the provider's safety (some may wonder which is more important, but either one will ruin your whole day).

Just a reminder.

Never take someones word that they are a member of XXXXX.
They could be using some other person's id.
