Is it customary to leave some extra $ for the lady if they provided a good service. I've read on the boards that folks do it for agency girls, but not for indies.  Is this correct?

If a tip is expected, how much on a $250-350 session?

That's a damn good question that...er...um..."someone" asked on the main board and started quite a controversy.

I've never left extra money, but I do generally give ladies gift cards. I find out what their "likes" are, and give the appropriate card (e.g., Fredericks, Body & Bath Works, Victoria Secret, Barnes & Noble).

what's the diff between givin em an extra 25 or 50 in cash or a gift card?  I'd think they'd be more appreciative of $.. Oddly, almost everytime i've seen anyone, I've done extra and they have hardly ever even looked at the $ while I was there, so they didn't know there was a tip til I'd left..

I think handling the $ is one of those 'you can get busted for' things..

Actually, the ladies like the gift cards. As I said, I give cards tailored to what the lady likes in the way of shops, etc. It's a little personal touch which shows I cared enough to find out something about them.

...I just rounded-up the fee once or twice (only $50) in advance. Since neither of those lady's bothered to count it while I was looking, neither knew she got a tip until I'd left...but then again, I think that was the point of the gesture anyway - a nice surprise rather than an "incentive" of some sort. Ironically, one of the ladies was one I didn't even have sex with (mechanical failure on my part!), so I guess my method of tipping-in-advance was more than a little stupid.

Speaking of counting, I've only seen 5 lady's so far. Four completely ignored the envelope (when I left it was still exactly where I'd placed when I arrived). One, on the other hand, opened it immediately and counted it right in front of me(twice). Kinda "business-like" compared to the other four, I guess, but she was great otherwise.
