when I have my period I do not work!  There is a lot of blood and you can get a faster, disease!!!!
The gentlemen who know me , know that after my period, I will not let me do oral sex to my  for precaution ...

well I know it does gross some people out, but my luck, I have experinced this  in my last 2 encounters with providers.So my question is, any other providers out there do this or was it just my luck with the last two?

I think you have just had an unusual run of luck. Most ladies I have known don't like period sex themselves, assume clients don't like it, or both. Accordingly, they take that time of the month off (easier to plan if she is on the pill or very regular of course). A couple of ladies I have met use menstrual cups sometimes, which you probably wouldn't even have noticed if she had inserted it properly, but that is more for when a period comes unexpectedly early or late rather than a regular thing for them. Of course others might have used them without me realizing it.

I even mentioned to three long-term favorites at various times over the years that I wouldn't mind period sex with each of them. One said that she would think about it if I asked for an appointment at that time of the month; the other two left it at thanks but no thanks.

In any event, it is enough of a red flag for most people that it should have been disclosed to you in advance.

I would be interested in the ladies' thoughts.

I did indeed have Softcups disposables in mind because they are the only ones that I have any (knowing) personal experience with, but I think Softcups is a brand name. There are some other brands and designs that claim to be sex friendly and still others that claim they shouldn't be worn during sex.

However, I suspect that you would know better than I do if these claims are to be trusted.

What I can say for Softcups is that work and they are pretty much undetectable during DATY or vaginal sex, at least for the ladies I have experienced them with. If the original poster couldn't tell because of a Softcup, he would have no basis for complaint. However, if the ladies in question were obviously having their periods and were off limits for some activities or potentially turning him off, I think that advance notice would have been in order.

I don't use softcups.
I have a period 4 times a yr (birth control). Most IF they decide to work during their cycle use makeup sponges or this stringless sponge tampon called 'Beppy' and yes don't allow certain activities. I'm not particularly comfortable with DATY during my cycle even if things are light and "plugged" up properly.

"However, if the ladies in question were obviously having their periods and were off limits for some activities or potentially turning him off, I think that advance notice would have been in order." .... agreed, some will stay away from certain things but warning gives them the chance to decide to take the appt or wait a few days.

Be careful with those birth control that delay's your period for every 12 weeks. I know a provider who almost bleed to death recently because of the treatment. She had to get off it.
