Whose idea was it to have this Photo Only board. Was it TER trying to fix things that are not broken, or was it a Provider/John initiative?  

I remember a few years back they created Ad-Boards, to separate Ads from rest of the posts, and that was, in my opinion, a good idea. This? Not so much.  

Other than being tonic to sore eyes, the photo thread served a very valuable visual guide to local and visiting talent. I remember having made decisions to see couple of gals, where the photo thread was the starting point. Now, I did do my due diligence and homework before shelling out my hard earned cash, but starting point was the photo thread.  

Most heterosexual men are visual beasts. Hello.........

Now, taking this valuable tool out of sight, almost takes it out of mind. I mean, other than providing a visual treat, seeing picture of a provider from, say, Colorado doesn't do me much, and that's what happening with all the photos dumped together in one single thread.

I think at the beginning it was a good idea, then it got out of hand. Ladies  would post the some old photos over and over again. Forget about following a theme, they would post anything to get their names out there. Beside most of the theme were lame at best, "show your ass, show your Tits" After looking at they same photos for a while it gets boring.  

It really got to be a waste of time even looking at the.

The new Photo Only page is not a totally bad idea, but it might make some sense to make a Local Photo Board or an extension or addition to the Local Ad Boards.  

And possibly require the Photos to follow a Theme?

I agree with LamontCranston69 that they sometimes seem to be just getting their name out there which is actually not a bad form of advertising

I was talking about what adds value to the board, and what takes away the value...I am not loading up on Xanax just because they moved the photos to alternate board.

I actually like the addition of the Photo Board. I won't check it out very often because it is pretty dull. But it is a good place for ladies to catalog their pics for gents that want to do a search. In no way however does it match the value that was taken away with the removal of Theme Days.

Theme Days was a good way for touring ladies to introduce themselves to a region and along with the local ladies , strut their stuff.

But , Theme Days was about more than the pics. It allowed the ladies to express their personality. The banter and clever remarks were as much fun as the sexy [ ok...let's be honest, sometimes not so sexy ] pics.  It added a little spicey fun to the Regional Boards.

I travel a little so as others have said it was a useful tool for me when headed for a new city. I always checked out the theme threads as I considered posible companionship[s]. That value tool has been eliminated.

There were reasonable options to consider. I mean if there really are that many dudes who hate seeing pics of naked women , couldn't  some sort of compromised been better. Like reducing the number of Theme Days?

I hope admin will reconsider this decision.

I did have an idea about photo themes. What ever picture admin posts, when starting a thread. The ladies should try their best to recreate the photo posted by admin

I wasn't sure if I was the only one who made that observation. They don't typically include many touring ladies, and we already have an ad board if you're looking for who's currently available. And like you said, a lot of times it's the same pics reposted from their websites that don't necessarily follow the given theme.

However I will say that any benefit that hobbyists and providers got from the photo threads just got taken down a couple notches. Now it means going to a separate board, and looking through all the responses on the daily thread for the girls that are in my area. I didn't see much of a point prior to this, and now...

I've been frequenting the DC and LA boards for awhile, and in no way were the photo threads obtrusive enough to push this kind of idea. Why stop there though? Why not restrict all ISO posts to the generic ISO board? I see far more of them than photo threads, and technically ISO isn't "discussion" either. It's going to get to the point where there isn't any reason for regional discussion boards because every specific topic will have its own global board.

I think it should be kept on as an important feature enhancing our conversations here on the board and brightening the day with a splash of color . . . why change that . . do not understand, but most girls do have pics on their websites, I know I do

At first when I read the message about photo board, I thought it was a good idea.  But when I looked at it.............I am not into it. I agree with the previous post, it is boring.  Needs to have a daily photo theme for the ladies to post to.  The ad board is where its at for me.  I like seeing who is coming and who I might be coming with, hehe

Gives a nice chance to see all the ladies out there across the country, get the juices flowing.
Was not a fan of the theme threads on this discussion board as there are plenty of photos of the locals on the local ad board and their linked sites already.
Something about the pure "look at me" nature of these actually turned me off just a bit, as they seemed a little out of place to me on the discussion board, almost like someone interrupting a conversation just to get your attention, lol!

Also, one thing I like about these discussion boards is having the providers appeal in a totally different way - revealing their personalities via their wit, charm, clever banter, likes, dislikes, etc.  That can certainly peak my interest.

The theme days were great although I did tire of seeing the same old pics that some ladies seemed to continually recycle (for some ladies its time to get some new pics). I know from speaking with a few ladies that the rules were being bent and some pics never got posted for one reason or another.

Why not keep both ideas running? Sure, it takes up a lot more bandwidth to have pics on the board vs. just text. Simplfy the rules, maybe cut the theme pic days down to 2 days a week and go from there.  

Those that like and appreciate the Photo Board can use that, but those of us who used the theme days on the Regional Boards as a way to see who was around would prefer that to come back. TER could easily track (by number of clicks on each board) which is more popular.

TER should go back to the photo threads on the regional ad boards. That way you get to see what is available, not a lot of what is unobtainable.
