With all of the talk about LE busts, I have been thinking about a conundrum. If a guy gets lucky after the first date and buys dinner, bobbles and wine, is that considered soliciation? There is obviously an exchange of goods for services. If this is not solicitation, then I suggest that instead of asking for money, providers ask for things. It would be a "lucky" first date for the guy. I think the LEOs need to go after real criminals instead of consenting adults.

In solicitation there is an explicit understanding that cash or goods will be exchanged for sexual favors. Yes there are other circumstances where a favors are exchanged for gifts, financial support, ect., but there isn't an explicit quid pro quo (eventhough experience and common sense should tell both that is the case). I don't put too much stock in all of these reports abouts busts because little info. or source material is volunteered. I've checked newspaper, TV, and radio websites and have come up with nothing.
