I recently wrote a review for a provider I previously reviewed, and even though it posted TER told me they don't give credits for repeat reviews and my membership was reduced to Basic membership because I stopped my monthly recurring payments. Now, mind you I've been paying these jerks monthly for the better part of 15-years. They can see that history, and you would think that would count for something, but nah these greedy butt heads don't give a shit about that. Instead, what they are saying is I (we) have to see a variety of providers and post reviews which is to their benefit. Even though any good review piques the interest of fellow hobbyists. I've even had gents PM me to verify what I wrote was real, which I confirmed. Two of them wrote back after seeing the provider in question and thanked me for the recommendation.
That's what I call a subtle SCAM! Well, they will never get another penny from me, that's for damned sure!None of this should have been a surprise. The rules are clear about repeat reviews. The fake reviews are bad enough as it is without guys writing repeat reviews of girls they've seen.
If you were looking to save money you shouldn't have been paying monthly since that's a higher rate.
In the past they've run specials around the holidays and give a reduced number of VIP days for repeat reviews. I've taken advantage of that more than once. They haven't done that in a while.
Why would you equate fake reviews with repeat reviews, not similar at all
Reviewing is a fairly awful process imo but also imo ter should encourage repeat reviews. After all the seasons get better when you're a regular and it's nice to see in writing how that dynamic plays out.
I meant to say that a guy who writes a fake review would be encouraged to write more fake reviews of the same woman.
How did I know the 'Board King' would be the first to respond, LOL. I don't give a rat's ass about the rules. It's not a good rule, and I'm not one to chase specials. I don't really need this forum. I have two UTR ladies and a friend with benefits. I do this sparingly and for particular services. I know who's who of the providers without the need of a VIP membership. It's not something I'll ever miss. So, do your thing, and btw this discussion board is merely a source of entertainment for me when I need a few good laughs (every 3 weeks or so). I have a life outside of this.
I kind of understand them not granting days on an escort review that you basically had the same experience 2 months later....submit some problem reports and get days..
You sound angry. But the truth of the matter is holystonethedeck made valid points.
This is all well known and just their policy. If you don't like it write a S&P post on why it should be changed. It's not even remotely related to the DC area so not sure why you would post it here. But in the end if you don't like or need TER, just like with questionable provider ads, just move on.
As for the monthly payments for 15 years, I have to ask, are you a bit dim? The do have a yearly subscription which is discounted from the monthly rates.
Add up the cost of admission it's cheap AF. Why complain? It's petty. TER as a tool is priceless. I would never go without a VIP membership.
If you're that cheap and refuse to pay report problems for free VIP days. There are other ways to get free VIP. If you've been here 15 years read the information provided. Live & learn.
It's not about being cheap and anyone who knows me knows that. It's about the principle itself. I can totally understand not getting credit for reviewing the same provider 5-6 times, but don't like the idea of just 2 times not counting. So, keep your cheap comments to yourself, because you don't know shit about me. I don't need a VIP membership all the time. I only get one when I'm looking for something new, which is far and in between. I've never been one trying to date 30 different providers, and especially these days in this area. The quality and quantity pales in comparison to what it used to be. I'm not at all angry about this. I really couldn't care less. I always find what I'm looking for in a provider, VIP or not.
You're so all over the place here. You say you don't need reviews you don't give a shit about the rules...and then claim your history and that it should count for something. Huh? History with same TER you claim to not give a shit about?
So what is the point of you getting a review if you don't give a shit (allegedly)?
Have you even given a thought of how helpful a repeat review of the same provider by same person within a year or two is to mongers who actually are reading the reviews?
Here's my take on it, I see a monger who has like three or four reviews of the same provider, I roll my eyes and rarely read them.
Worth mentioning for the nth time. The point of reviews is to help others, not help you get a free peek.
You're saying TER is making you do something. No, ter sub is a paid one. You're receiving the free days as complimentary credit for a review submission. No one says you have to do anything. How entitled can one be?
He also didn't get VIP days for the review and stopped buying..........yet can read PMs. Basic can't read messages.
of 'things' this hobby provides that are mutually beneficial for both sides...however, there is nothing worse than telling a client 'due to my privacy please do not write me a review right now' and they turn around and write one to keep their 'status'...yes, we all understand the perks at times but this board has been around forever and always set some sort of 'bar' for both parties. If a client has the responsibility to pay a small fee to make sure they are not getting scammed on a reputable board, it's part of the business. As much as the girls ask about clients for reference checks, it is not as gossipy as some of the client's who enjoy sharing SO much and then it comes back to the provider in a review with YMMV. Yes, it may due to how the client acts in the room or their hygiene and we all know that some providers tolerate alot more than others. This also falls in line with rates, girls charge what they feel they deserve. While some client's may not like it, there are plenty of others to select from verses haggling with a provider about their rates. Charge it to the game and keep it moving, all the whining and complaining recently ruins the 'fun'. Keep it light everyone, this business is not what it used to be years ago that's for sure.
