checking the board and a bit of search seems that there is a lot more 'sad' news about companies like VIPFantasy, Capital Treasures, PlatinumXXX and maybe others. So what do you guys think, is there a higher risk seeing agency girls when it comes to LE problems?

one thing that has always concerned me about seeing agency girls is that the agency owners always post their pictures on their site, no hiding faces or anything, so I would think that makes them even a bigger target for those who like to eat donuts 3x a day!

Your question  presupposes there are only two frames of measurement Agency or Independent and  this is not completely true.

The real question isn't agecny vs independent nor is the outcome dependent on that paradigm. What the actual determinate  of the outcome IMHO is the "individual" and how they choose to conduct business. There are independents and agencies who show faces and those like me who don't.

There are independents on this board who are on their 2nd or 3rd makeover (re-invent) because they have been busted one or more times.

(Disclaimer: for you overly sensitive namby-pambies a "makeover" is not indicative of being busted, some do it for whatever reason).

This is no different than those agency owners who are now on their 2nd, 3rd or 4th  agency for the same reason. Granted, agency busts are more spectacular as a media dog and pony show, however at the end of the day independents have co-operated to get a better deal as well. In the latter, there is no exclusivity I have observed.

Again, it comes down to the individual and how they choose do business and what's important to them. There are those of us in this industry who are ALL ABOUT the money and they don't give a crap about you, their colleagues, their associates or the industry.

Those individuals are fairly easy to spot because they tend to take "the path of least resistance" whether it's via back door price deals for reviews they didn't earn  or packing in as many in a day as they can and minimal or no screening. Those individuals I have observed over 19 years tend to eventually either fail or get busted.

The hobbyist version of that by the way is not following instructions or having the attention span of about 15 seconds. Then asking questions answered on the web site.

There are those of us who can tell you, this is what I stand for, this is what drives my business and here are our guiding principles.

What I suggest is, don't just look at the pictures, but take the time to ascertain what kind of person your dealing with. As in honestly read the whole damn website and if they have a blog that too. As a business be they independent or agency, are their business principles inline with what you fundamentally believe? If not, then don't compromise yourself, for I have watched numerous people on our side of the line screw themselves that way.

Finally I'll share a little secret an agecny owner I'm mentoring grasped the other day.

"In our business who you are, how  well you manage your personal life effects the outcomes you manifest in this business more so than any other. "

I concur and simply said that it is not Indy vs Agencey, but how they opperate.
  About following instructions that is one that I am always get me. English is not my native tounge, but I can most of the time understand what I am being told. Best example come to XXX Hotel and call me and I will give you the room#. Hello I am about 20 min away what is you room#.
 
 Then the 10 e-mails going back and forth asking for all of the information that I have put on my site to give a compleat overview of what to expect should they decide to come see me.

Hope the guy grasps what your trying to tell him. The gist of it is there is no pat answer to
his question.
Everyone needs to find what is comfortable for him and her. There are good and bad agencies and independents.
One thought that comes to mind is that guys would be amazed I think of how naive many participants are. What the competition does and dosent do. Some particpants are just much better than others at business planning. Some have no plan and it shows.
The chief reason why TER is so valuabble is sorting all this out!

In general an agency. Busting an agency nets the cops more bang for their buck. They nail the operators, some of the girls and maybe a few clients. Indie a girl and maybe a client.  Which looks better to their superiors saying hey we shutdown this agency and arrested 15 perps.  Or we busted three girls and nabbed two clients.

Also you can pull the human trafficking shtick with busting an agency.

Now this is in general.

The ladies I have seen offer time and  companionship and nothing more.I am just a typical guy who lies about "all" of his sexual conquests. Why do I do that? Its what guys do.
If you think my reviews are real, then you must not realize I have a vivid imagination.
Are people actually as gullible as the questions they ask?

Over the years I used a few agencies.

Some were the model of professionalism.

Some had really great ladies who met all my expectations and then some.

Some were high end in price. Some were for lack of a better word priced right.

Some were national and still around, some were located in big cities like New York and some were in little towns like Frederick.

Some were in small Long Island and Maryland towns but served the big cities nearby and afar.  

All of them are either out of business or at least went down once or twice and came back with different owners and most of them went out because either they were busted or because they knew if they did not close up they were one small step in front of the law.

These are simply my own observations over the span  of more then a couple of years

Most really good agency girls end up leaving and becoming independents. They do it for a wide variety of reasons and for the sake of this discussion we will leave the details for another time.

Some independents after years of being in the business start up an agency. Most of these do not survive unless they somehow find a partner-one sort of partner or another.

Agencies set the time length of the appointment and also how many appointments a lady has in a given day. Some agency owners I might add overbook  and by saying overbook without adjectives I am being kind.

Some agency owners place a great deal of unwanted stress on their employees in one form or another for a variety of reasons. Most of those reasons are not to the benefit of the employee but to themselves.

The risk of being busted is much higher for a wide variety of factors. You might have managed to avoid all of these factors for a longer period then some but sooner or later the odds are against you.

The advantages of an agency are typically choice, less notice, and if you are a frequent client some semblance of reliability.

Some great clients trade reviews for a better level of service. It tends to happen more with an agency. Again my observation.

The disadvantages are less of chance of knowing the lady you have an appointment with because of no interaction, less of a chance of her having the ability to make her own decisions, both good and bad, and from what I have observed your information being stored in a centralized data base with a big red flag attached to it saying over here doughnut eaters.

I will agree with you 100% about the correlation with clients and how they run their personal lives and how they act in this venue. Some of the things I have seen and heard make me wonder at times if certain people can get out of bed each day.

1. Do you know that from experience or simple gossip?

2. Why would a agency tend to do that more than a Indy?

3.If you found out because someone told you ..Do you believe evrything your guy friends tells you..I surely don't.


Bonus question ..Where  can I sign up for better performance for reviews?

1) From experience but also from trusted sources.

Trusted sources from other guys is very different from gossip, simple or otherwise.

2) Not sure why but it does happen. I think, key word being think,  an independent lady has the time and the control to set her own standards. With agencies they bring a new girl in and what is the first thing they need to do? Create buzz. How do you create buzz? Have a good or better yet a great review from a well known board poster. Once "I have 75 reviews and am known" says this lady will curl your toes with her oral skills she is no longer TOFTT. She now is a known experience. Phone rings. Agency owner is much happier. Agency girl depending on if she is now asked to perform outside of her comfort zone or more often then she wants.....not so much.

3) Depends on the validity of the someone. Depends on the similarities in what he looks for and what I look for in an encounter.

My friends I believe. My acquaintances not so much. There is a difference.

Bonus Answer... Make yourself of value to the agency. Chances are if you do you will not need to ask.

If you have any doubts ask GTM.

...usually with agencies there a more people to go down. Which is a bigger bust. Many more charges can be brought up and there are many more clients to get. The bigger the bust the better I am guessing. More than a solicitation charge or 2 that you would get with an Indy. Of course NO ONE is ever immune! What surprises me these days is how many people run thier fucking mouths and rat on each other! Which is another reason I work solo and handle my own business.  I trust no one! Well that's my .2. Everyone be safe out there.

that an indie has the ultimate discretion to decide at any point that something doesn't seem/feel right and cancel/bail/fail to book an appointment.  I would think agency girls have a harder time getting away from appointments if things get uneasy/hinky. Just a thought.

The nail that sticks out gets hammered down.  Agencies are the nail.  The more ladies, the more the nail sticks out.  And the more personal information the agency collects, the harder and wider the hammer will fall.

I learn to trust people because they share information with me turning out to be true.
Most times not once, not twice, but over time.

Are there times when the information turns out to be wrong? Of course. However people I trust would not pass on tainted information as you describe it because of their point of view of the subject. Not without sharing they viewed the subject in that manner.

First hand knowledge is very rare. It happens when you have the experience and at least my own communications as I explained above are from both my own experiences but also from people I trust.

I did specify and I make a point of specifying which is the case.

Many people over the years have thought I am interesting. Not sure why that is the case because overall I tend to be an average Joe.

There are crappy agencies and crappy independents. There aren't any general rule set one can apply to either. When I first started in the hobby, I got crappy agencies, and  crappy indies. After a while, you learn to spot both and you stay away from them.

Finding independent's are little more time consuming may or may not fit in with your other schedules and for that reason I tend to use agencies a bit more.

In my area, most if not all agencies are gated apartment communities, not many use hotels, some indies then I find out which. if they don't tell me which hotel and where the general location  is, I move on. These apartment complexes are safe and built without windows in the front so neighbors can't see who is coming and going.

You want to be safe, you need to take safety in your own hands and make wise choices. If you leave safety to an  independent or an agency, then you are to blame for any security lapse and consequences.
