How TER treats a lady

Over six weeks ago, Jessie Yum Yum requested that her profile and reviews be taken down from TER, and TER complied with her request. This week, TER has re-posted her profile and reviews without her permission. She has send them numerous emails and tweets calling for TER to abide by their own rules and remover her information from the site. Guess how TER has responded. The didn't. Nothing. Crickets.

So, I know your next question. Why is Jessie not posting this herself? Well, when they pulled down her information, the geniuses at TER also deactivated her account! She can't even post to complain about how they are mistreating her. She asked me to post for her since there is absolutely nothing else she can do call attention to this outrageous behavior by TER.

Hey TER! Let Jessie go.

What does TER have to gain by keeping Ms YY listed?

that after announcing her retirement and having herself delisted, TER found or was directed to a new ad Jessie may have placed elsewhere (see other post in this thread indicating an E**s ad on 3/5).

This is something that TER has done before. While they are usually very accommodating to requests for delisting retiring providers, if they see another ad for the lady elsewhere after she announces her retirement here, they can and do reactivate her profile even though they may not reactivate her full account. Like anyone else, they view this action as being lied to and nobody likes to be lied to.

Remember, TER is a resource for information that both the gentlemen AND the ladies use. Even though Jessie might not post here anymore, there might be some gents who find her ad elsewhere and look to see if she has a profile, reviews, etc. here on the board. I do this when I find a lady's ad on another site but want to see if she "checks out" here.

With all that being said, concerning Jessie, I would hope TER admin sees your post (although you could always PM them directly as well) and makes the needed correction. Jessie was a model member here (as far as I know) and I had and still have the utmost respect for her.

Good luck in your quest and please let Jessie know I wish her well in her life endeavors.

And regardless,

her asking to be delisted MAY HAVE BEEN DUE TO A PERSONAL MATTER,
and she was trying to cover her ass to prevent a situation from escalating or coming to fruition.

So, still very uncool, and potentially endangering her way of life.

Does that seem unreasonable?
I question myself a lot.
I'm socially awkward.

The explicit details and publicizing of her details and reviews are the factor for her needing her profile delisted at the moment.

I only wish TERs admins understood.

Hopefully your advocacy will help.  Seems like a computer thing to me...

if you look around TER you will find plenty of reviews of providers that have retired. Either by choice or otherwise. Before Jessie's retirement, she was being very 'strange' so to say. Offering full service and at times not offering it, many times reaching to the old clients and offering extra services that were not on the menu.

purpose of TER is to inform and protect us the hobbiest by providing accurate information (or as accurate as it can be) so that we make informed choices

If a provider decides to change her "business model", so to speak and adopt a lower profile doesn't she have the prerogative to do so? And if part of adopting a lower profile is not having information displayed on TER doesn't she have the right to make that choice?

In other words--just because a provider might still be "active" doesn't mean she's "mandated" to conduct her business in a certain way. It's her business to conduct as she sees fit. This goes beyond "white knight" labels---this is about the freedom of somebody conducting their affairs as they so choose.

many have done it.. some have been in business for over 2 decades and have come back two or three times with different names even offering the same service and at times different service

the problem with Jessie is that she wants her 'reviews' but she wants to only offer limited service which is 100% her choice. So she made up a story about retiring and then coming back and stuff.. well the way to do it is to

a. create a new name for herself  .. lets say Yummy!
b.  get one of her many white knights to write a review for Yummy and only put limited services she offer and rate her as such

then there are no confusion as to why one day a provider that had everything on the menu including greek and nuru all of the sudden is massage only!

So what does she provide now? I saw her ad somewhere else and was thinking about contacting her. But if she's very limited now, I'm not too sure.
