I only got into the game like 2,3 yrs ago, and back then, DC was a candy shop- granted I was a newbie and took way more risks, but these days, it seems like the well has kind of dried up, so to speak...seeing BP providers is like rolling the dice, Eros is outside of my pay grade, and most of the desirable companions are hard to reach (understandably)- maybe it's time to hang up the hobbyist cleats, and have the fattest wallet, ever lol- I think my problem is, now that I'm educated via forums like this, I'm much more cautious and selective - not a knock on the beautiful, verified ladies out here at all

Find two providers with whom you truly enjoy spending time. Not just the sex - I am talking when date week rolls around, you are actually looking forward to seeing her. Have the two of them be different enough from each other that you have a sense of variety when seeing one as opposed to the other. Try best you can to have both of them have wide-open menus so things don't get stale. Establish a workable price-point with both of them, you are seeing them on a regular basis and that is guaranteed income for them. This should be worth something. Try and get on something approaching a regular schedule with them.
Yes, they will retire eventually. But even when one does, you still have the comfort of the other while seeking a replacement.
That was my objective the 2nd half of 2012, to be in that position early in 2013. I have not stopped seeing new-to-me providers entirely, that "wow factor girl" is always gonna pop up from time to time (here's looking at you, Aerial!), but I have my two and they both offer me, most importantly, the temporary sense of intimacy that I crave and secondarily just mind-blowing sex.
Get to that place and you should be happy in the hobby for a long time. Nine of the stress and pressures. All of the benefits. And (business) relationships with your select ladies that are rooted in trust.
Many of the high end ladies stopped coming to our area due to all the cancellations and no calls no shows. Others stopped coming because the market is saturated with all the ladies offering half hour specials at $100 and less. Lets not forget about the crackdown by LE at all levels. One of the post articles indicated that around 700 people have been busted in 2 towns in Maryland College park and Oxon Hill.
Today I got unsolicited texts from providers begging for repeat business.
Some guys have down graded from the $300 range to the $200 range and less. I know one guy who saw 3 providers in 1 day (2 internet providers and 1 street walker). He greeked the first provider, 2nd provider had him hold his balls when fucking the provider, 3rd provider street walker let him CIM. He was laughing because he spent a total of $300. He is take home pay is $30,000 a month. He just chooses to be cheap.
My two ATFs rarely visit this area anymore, because although they're both awesome and beyond gorgeous, they have trouble sustaining income in DC- I used to just alternate between the two- one of them was caught up in a sting a year or so ago, too, so your points are well taken

I agree, I need to work on building a reliable @bench" lol- I don't think I'm going to quit, because I'm more in it for the thrill of finding diamonds in the rough; not run of the mill BP chicks (no offense to anyone), but women who I'm able to build a rapport and "click" with - my two ATFs set a high standard though

give it a bit of time.. it was an election year, its cold out there .. it gets better in Spring/Summer season.
However I do agree that the other factors you mentioned are true but not that much of a problem.
One thing to remember as a whole is that the overall market for providers have changed, due to forums like this and BP its flooded everywhere and the rates are lower than they used to be so some of the high end providers with more expensive rates are having a hard time justifying travel cost and time spend elsewhere other than home town.
My idea is to change how you hobby. Seeing less of the BP girls, and use the funds for the well reviewed/eros ladies. BP has changed a lot over the last few years. I assumed it was going to when CL ads were shutdown. Now that your educated is a very good thing. Use it to your advantage, you'd be surprise at what a difference it can make.
I'm a man of numbers and here is what the "averages" are per/hr as related to the average rating score: 10 = $500 9 = $375 8 = $275 7 = $200 6.5 = $175 6 = $150
Those appear to be fairly constant - as we all now ratings below a "5" - well then your desperate. Adjust for less or more time by a 40% up or down factor. I'm not at all certain what distinguishes a $500 experience from a $1,000 hourly tryst. Let me know if you do.
what your preferences are, but I have been playing in DC for 25+ years and do not see what you see. Yes, some wonderful ladies have moved on--but I have never been at a loss for others to take their place. I have been to other cities and found little to nothing that apealed to me, but not DC.
I will say that if you are looking for the super hot 18 y/o, that might not be in abundance here, but for the 30-45 y/o who is great for the mind and body, I don't know of any place better. There are a couple who just showed up in the past 8 mos or so who are as fine a dte as any I know.
Your description sounds all too common. I know a number of visiting ladies who won't return because they have been essentially chased away by guys in DC. Guys who seem to want to "protect" some of the local ladies by filling up a visiting lady's schedule with absolutely no intent of showing up.
A very, very nice lady came to DC for a four day visit recently. She generally only sees 2 clients a day when traveling, and her 6 appointments (one on the first and last day, two on the full days) were all booked before she arrived so she didn't put up much advertizing. Two of the six showed, the other four "confirmed" but then NC/NSd and she left town with a sizable loss (mostly air fare & rooms, she is a Ritz-Carlton/Willard type lady). Needless to say she has zero intention of returning. And I have heard this kind of stuff for years about DC.
