The client of this provider said in her first review, he was asked to sign a document saying he was not affiliated with LE. I mean, is this a sort of a new practice going on now? I would not sign anything unless she is ok with me taking my time to review what I would be about to sign. Most likely I would decline and leave.
Pg county is the worst when it comes to the crackdowns. That explains why she is doing it. Thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't sign anything either. Le is so bad that I know one provider who just got evicted because business is so bad. Her place got raided but le decided to not arrest her.

my advice for what it's worth is don't even shop at that level - it's asking for trouble. If they are stupid enough to think that this (or the "LE check" etc...) will accomplish *anything* ----- if they are relying on dumb shit like this for "screening" - they are asking for trouble - and if you see people who "screen" like this, you are asking to go down the tubes with them.....
I encountered this once, maybe 15-20 years ago, probably right about the time the internet started replacing the yellow pages, I made an appointment through some rip off agency I found in the yellow pages and they sent a girl over with one of those stupid forms that you are talking about.
To make a long story short, while I was reading this form, and trying to make up my mind on whether or not to sign it, she made the mistake of telling me the $200 was just the "agency fee" for showing up, and that anything else would be ala carte. Well that made my decision easy, I told her to take a hike, kept my money in my pocket and chalked the whole thing up as simply a waste of an hour or so of my time.
Oh yeah, she made some noise about me still owing her the fee for "showing up" as I was hustling her out the door, along with some muttered threats, I gave her one last piece of advice which was that if anyone were to come knocking on my door over the next couple of hours it might be safer if they didn't actually stand behind the door as I was just as likely to shoot through the door as answer it. amazingly, no one ever came back to "Collect" lol
Like most things this is hardly new, but it was dumb back then, and it's still dumb today. As others have said, all "LE checks" are completely worthless, and I would chalk up this provider as "too stupid to deal with" and take her completely off your list along with anyone else dumb enough to believe this practice is going to keep her safe.
Of course you should know what you're doing; and of course you may find 1 worthy provider out of 8 but it's worked for me. In addition, as others have noted; I stay away from all things MD cause you're liable to come across anything. So the mere fact that her location is in MD I would not consider contacting her, along with the fact that she's not my type.
