DC waterfront has some nice places... I'd say 18th st lounge is pretty good to go if you are looking to dance. there are allot of places... just depends on your tastes!

If it was me, I'd be going to the opening weekend of the brand new Stadium Club DC (then again, that's a Gentleman's Club w/fully nude dancers). Actually, there are a ton of other clubs in its vicinity.

A friend of mine goes here a lot and she loves it.  Check them out.

The W by the White House has a pretty amazing rooftop pool/lounge that is a "be seen in" spot. If you don't mind the occasional Jersey Shore cast member Shadow Room on K tends to have a decent DJ from time to time. Since ESL (18th St Lounge) tends to have random DJ's mixed with salsa bands on the weekends it's hit or miss, but with the weather my guess is it will be totally packed as the back deck will be open. All that said I have always had a great time getting a table at Josephine on Vermont and K, pretty cool inside and depending on what you like they have a DJ for everyone on Saturday nights.

Might I suggest a cocktail on the roof of the Beacon Hotel at their Skybar? Always a proper way to start off a crazy night.
