#1 He did have a reference, but I guess that is not always a sure bet that a guy is okay.
#2. I am stronger and braver than I thought. I always say I have guts, but until now no real proof.

I may have a lot of book smarts, but that does not mean I do not have street smarts as well.

I was a bit shaken, but glad that I was able to handle it the way I did. No need to pass on his info... He was taken into police custody and after dealing with me will probably never try a stupid stunt like that again.

Ladies, we do not have to be victims. Stay alert and keep a cool head. Now I feel empowered a bit. Not invicible (I am not an idiot), but rather I feel like adversity is to make one stronger and smarter than they were before. Statistics call for each girl in the biz to have one bad guy come her way, this is my one and I handled it well. Now let's hope and pray it will be my last and that others can learn from my experience.

Vanica - have you since contacted the reference letting them know? Actually, was it a provider that gave the reference? If so, guess provider for provider references aren't all that safe are they...

I mean, first name and (area code) ***-1234 (and the last 4 digits of his phone number blocking the exchange)???
That's what ANY other provider on these boards would do to help protect the safety of other ladies.

I'm sorry about your experience.  I'm glad you are alright, but I'm curious, didn't he say anything to the police about why he was there and who he was visiting?  Did the police ask to speak with you?

Could you please email his information, just in case?  This is kind of uneasy when we rely on the say so of others.  I know it is a risk we all take, but you can never be too careful.

I know many girls did contact you asking for his information and you just brushed them off with an excuse or ignored their requests. Why? Because this never happened and you made up the whole story.

she's not posting because is a fabrication.

Specific details, specially about a person physically trying to harm any of us, should be disclosed to anyone requesting the information from her, either here or thru e-mails.

Vanica didn't come out with anything to show it really happened. Her replies to our requests were vague and beating around the bush.

This is just a typical "crying wolf" situation, unless she responds this post with something we can verify as true.

Credibility in this business is very important and she should not be playing with hers with stories like this.
