TER White list vs. date-check

Do providers find that either TER white list or date-check is better for references? Do you prefer or rely on one or the other?

I tend to stay with my ATFs but if i branch out i wanted to know which is better for a first visit.

I've thought of canceling date-check and just having providers do white list references. would that work or best to do both?

I have found P411 to be real helpful to be prescreened. I have heard Date check is similar but I do not have that. I don't think white list here on TER work all that well.

I dropped Date-Check about six months ago, and since then I have found that giving my TER handle, my white lists, and an offer to be contacted by TER PM has worked in every case.

White Listings can be done for vanity or politics.

Some guys automatically expect that if they write a review they deserve to be White Listed and will pressure a provider to provide one.

They are nice, but not effective screening.

Date-Check recommendations on the other hand are nearly always initiated by providers and a provider can assign one of several designations (not just a "yes" or "no" - but she can differentiate between an excellent client, a good client, a YMMV client, one who doesn't keep his appointments, etc. etc. without providing any details about her encounters with him).

Date-Check is extraordinarily useful and my favorite method of verification.

Don't cancel your Date-Check; in fact ask that providers provide their references there.
Girls are quickly realizing that the White List system is too flawed and too general to be reliable.

I like White List alot. Mostly because it so convenient to use.  I am on TER alot checking providers that gentleman use for references.  All in one stop. One password

Date-check is fine.  A little bit of a pain.  Password and ID to login in.  I still need to look up the ladies on TER to see if they are real reputable providers. So that is another password and ID.  In addition, I sometimes still feel I need to personally contact the provider who is on the gentlemans Date-Check.  Don't ask me why I'm just extra extra careful about who I a see.  It's like a joke with all my girlfriends in this hobby.  If Noel has seen him it's like getting in to Fort Knox.  I do always ask the Date-Check gentleman if it is ok to contact the lady friend that they visited with, before I do email her.

Just started using Preferred 411.  It's just another site with another password.  And I still have to go on TER (password and ID) to research that the ladies are reputable (my definition of reputable)

So for me TER Whitelist is best, though I still prefer the gentleman  sent at least two recent references from reputable providers for me to verify.

I'm here to have fun.   To do that I need to feel safe.  If I feel safe, skys the limit ;)

Personally, I think all of those are great especially TER's WhiteList.  Usually the gentlemen gives me more than one ID (for ex. a P411 ID & TER handle), I definitely check both.  I find that they are all useful and each is extremely informative and valuable in choosing which clients to see.  :)

And I will always thank you for having the courtesy to put me on the White List; I can't imagine a better endorsement of me as an okay guy.

I would say that it would be best to use both TER white list and date-check.

I wasn't aware of the white list, guess I need to catch up after all of these years?  My ignorance.

It is my understanding you have to be a member of TER to post/use the white list.

After 1 yr+ I am stilll moderated on my posts.

I use p411 and date check, much easier and more reliable

just my .02

You must have your reviews linked to your handle to be able to white-list someone.  It is a very simple process which also gives you limited VIP.

Limited VIP gives you access to the PM system, as well as access to your view the juicy details and all the other VIP information on your own reviews.

Once you have linked your reviews to your handle, you can then request access to the Provider's Only board - and excellent resource for the ladies.  To get this, you must have at least 3 reviews.

Posting moderation is an entirely different thing.  To get that, you must PM the moderator for your local board and request unmoderation.

If a gent is white listed with legit and/or well known ladies, I will accept that.  I too feel the white listing is equally as valuable as Date-Check or any other verification site.

I usually check TER before I check anywhere else.  TER is number one in my book.  Not brown nosing here.  Just MHO.
