Still not a whole lot worth eating or drinking near Capitol Hill == too many government types

Chinatown area is close and has some non-chinese food!

DC has a severe shortage of cool anything -- politics is Hollywood for ugly geeks -- so Dupont is your best bet

I find Gtown to be trying to hard to be cool and sophisticated

Adams morgan ....for something hipsterish....Georgetown for something fun upscale but casual...Dupont for in the middle... If you like karaoke look up harri karaoke...its live band karaoke and a blast! Otherwise the pub or jazz scene is really great almost anywhere you go around the city!
