How to I get from the Union Amtrak station in DC to Tyson's Corner?
Ponzone was trying to help but he said I should ask you all too.
Is it better to just cab it?
Thanks in advance!

You'll probably have a significant amount of bags, you could take the metro and get close (can't get all the way there) but luggage is a pain in the metro.  (I've gone to and from Reagan a bunch).  Just take a cab - or better yet, see if your hotel has a van service that will pick you up at the Amtrak - many will.

When are you planning this trip across town? I'll call you tomorrow to see if you still need directions.... :OP

Getting into Union Station at 8:45 am Weds.
Do you eat worms? lol.. ;)

Slipry eats a lot of things, both with and without calories, Angie.....;)

Well you can take the metro then the bus...if you dont want to take a cap.  It might take just as long as the cap depending on traffic.  If you want to take the metro you would: Take the red line towards Shady Grove, get off at Metro Center and switch to the Orange Ling towards Vienna, get off at West Falls Church and hop a bus or cap from there.  That could be easier then a cap from Union Station...but nothing about getting around DC is easy.

Amen to THAT, jdk.  That's why I try to get the gals to come up to Baltimore... {ducking sharp projectiles in flight}  Of course, Angie IS doing that for two-thirds of her visit.  She might just find out why she may want to do it for THREE-thirds, the next time....;)

BTW, the LAST time I tried to see a provider in Tysons, a round trip of about 116 miles took me over 4 hours (1 hour going mid-day, and 3 hours coming back starting in the early portions of the afternoon/evening rush hours).
