one thing that I think helps is learn the harsh tags that work for you and will help in your search.

For touring independents, if you have your tour dates posted someplace where they're easy to find, that would be very helpful. In a pinned tweet, someplace on your website, on your P411 profile, maybe all of those places.  

Participating in the discussion here (as long as these boards are available...) will get me to look at your site if I'm looking for a date.

A couple girls I was looking at for this week cancelled their visits due to what's going on. I realize hotel prices are crazy the next week or two with cherry blossoms, so it might not be the best time to visit.

I only ever look for providers on P411. I certainly don't mind seeing Backpage go away. It was one step up from the street corner and sleazy as hell IMHO. To me Backpage smacked of LE stings and STDs. My provider friends have told me TER had a much bigger audience than P411 but, once again IMHO, P411 raised the bar for providers and clients alike and offers  providers and clients alike much greater security. Of course it comes at a cost but there never is a free lunch.

I am however sad to see TER US reviews go away. They were my way of screening providers beyond what P411 does.

I joined switter but, like many others, am still clueless as to how to use it.

I know BP had a reputation for being sleazed and suspect, but there were legitimate providers on there as well. For some its all they knew to advertise on. For other in certain areas of the United States , it was what worked to get them business. Just feel awful for the good people that get caught up in the BS.
