I am sorry fellas for canceling my upcoming trip, however, I am in need of minor surgery.

Sadly 4 mos ago I fell and thought it was a sprain and it is not, but yet a torn meniscus.  So...surgery is upcoming soon and then I will be as good as new and able to travel.

I can't wait to get this done and heal so I can get back to DC and have some real fun!!!

they told me no physical therapy...thankfully..However, if I did, knowing me, and it was a guy I would be hitting on him. Wait, maybe if it was a hot girl I would do the same thing.

You'll do fine.  I had that exact same procedure and I was back on my feet in less then a week.  Main point is to stay off your feet for the first few days.

Yea I have crutches...which I am using now cause the pain is horrible and my son will be with me.  Thanks so much for the advise and I can't wait to get back to DC...I miss my friends up there!!
