it could be that its a slow time just after the holidays, licking financial wounds as it were
or it could be that DC is a well serviced area with tons of competition, and in the 300 niche lots of 20 year old perfect 10's.  never heard Tysons was particularly slow, but don't know the provider perspective there.

Is it always so slow here?
Is there something going on that I'm not aware of?

I'm experiencing the same thing. I heard this was a great area, so I figured maybe it's just because I'm new to this side of the country??

idk. LMK if things pick up for you. Good Luck!

i think maybe cuz you're new to the area/hobby and dont have more than 1 review, dudes could be a lil hesitant on pulling the trigger. but i think once u become more established in the area and situated, u should be fine. from the looks of the 1st review, u seem like an awesome provider. websites fine, donation rates r reasonable, pics could be a lil more sexy (just my 2 cents) ...maybe might have to offer specials like 50$ off when booking 90 mins or more kind of deal

post your TER Ad on the DC Ad Board.  The same would apply if you decide to host in Rockville/Bethesda, post on the DC Ad Board, not the Maryland Board.

Or, if TER allows it, post on both the VA or MD Ad Board & the DC Ad Board.

Most of us looking to hobby in and around the Beltway check the DC Ad Board, and assume the VA Board is for Hampton Roads/Richmond & the Maryland Board is for Baltimore/BWI.

Get a couple more reviews like your first from established hobbyists and you'll be just fine in any locale.

can be very slow, due to the fact that congress is not in session, and it is a holiday weekend.

DC has many delightful gents, and I think you just came in at the wrong time.

I think you can dole out at least a little bit of blame on the stock market, it's plunge has a psychologically freezing-up effect, and Congress being out means a lot of staff and lobby industry and others are on a down cycle. But also after an intense holiday period, some of us guys just need to crawl into our cave for a couple weeks to get back into life's routine swing of things. So yeah, I'm not surprised it's a bit slow right now.

I've heard from regulars that its been pretty slow for awhile, like since last summer.

Pretty much the story I'm hearing from a lot of girls and agencies.  I haven't heard of a reason why this is the case.

I could speculate, but it doesn't seem to matter if you're local, visiting, top tier, low tier, agency or independent.

3rd week of January, it's always a very slow time for all businesses, so they offer deals to try to fill empty tables.  Only exception is in Inauguration years when they move it to 1st week of Feb., because with the Inauguration always on Jan. 20th, thousands of people come to DC for that event (of course the hotels also jack up their prices around that event!).

I couldn't find TER ads for you under either DC or Virginia while searching for Jasmine for the subject line, so adding your name there as well as the author line might help.

There are a lot of people in the area who are more risk averse than elsewhere in the country and there has been a lot of police activity in the area. As you get reviews, you will find that interest that may already be there starts to get communicated (I am).

Posting to the DC Ad board is definitely better than the Virginia board for Tysons.

I think that the week or two after Christmas is usually slow, although it hasn't been for me

I would love to see you... but Tysons is a long way off... if you were at BWI... then I could see you... (sigh)..
