These post are VERY TRUE....I have personal knowledge (i.e.; insider info) that they are on CL and preparing a large simultaneous bust. My "connection" personally called to warn me and said to pass it on. There have been too many gents that have been robbed and ladies hurt because of CL erotic ads, so LE is trying to nip the problem in the bud so to speak. Be very careful, they have female officers posting as providers and males posing as potential clients. ALSO...apparently there is a provider that was busted, and is now working with police to avoid prosecution.
Looks like there have been some CL crackdowns in the Baltimore area. Phone numbers are being used out of state. Reminds me of the fake eros ads back in the summer of 2004.
SCREEN SCREEN & SCREEN any clients contacting you from CL. When I go to certain areas, I do use CL but I never post my real identity or place too much information about myself. I have a different "persona" for my CL ads and the guys who knows who I am can read between the lines and go "oh Betty is here". Also, the majority of these "be careful", "rip off" and "busts" posts are done by others providers and agencies to get rid of the growing competition. The truth is, posting on CL generates tons of replies, usually I get over 300 mails in a question of minutes. If 10% of them are real and willing to spend on a provider, she has 30 sure appts. Just do the math. So, that's why you see so many bashing and warnings going around. CL is a potential market and the ones profiting from it don't want newcomers. Lots of guys say...oh I don't go to CL...but they do, lol. And, lots of the guys posting on CL do not have any idea of our boards. When I meet new guys who don't have any other resource but CL, I always take some time in the end of the session to show and teach them how to use TER and the other boards I belong to. Stings happens everywhere and thru any boards...the only way to make sure you are safe is to screen properly. If you do, there are no problems.
Well I know for a FACT that the warnings being given right now are not to be taken lightly. I dont know about other providers posting this to ward off competition, I just KNOW what I know. The person giving me this info has never steered me wrong, and in the loop on all things LE.
that's the way they gather information of who is visiting and their schedule. They might be reading what we are posting here, at this exact moment. I know, for a FACT, that they do. But...they cannot just pure and simple knock in a providers door. They need to be invited IN...if she do not screen her clients, chances are she will, eventually, be arrested. Is just a matter of time. So, screening is important to avoid booking a cop. If you have proper screening, you can advertise anywhere and you will be safe.
My source tells me that they really want the ones that are creating alot of problems and involve robberies, assults, etc. Due to the nationwide problems with CL, local LE decided to try to stop it beforehand. This is what I am being told. Hell, he even told me it was pretty much a safe bet to be on TER and TBD. Those that do not screen and handle the biz correctly, will be caught.
I totally believe Lea and her source. Lea if people want to try and discredit you, oh well. Let them get caught. The ones with any intelligence will be cautious the others will go to jail. I stopped posting on CL because of the quality of clients I was receiving. Some were ok and some definitely were not. I personally feel that I receive much better clientele from TBD, TER, and Eros. I am very cautious with my screening anyway and those who are not will get what they deserve.
Heard via grapevine that following local areas are being targets Baltimore City, Anne Arundel County, all of DC, and Alexandria. The things were posted on other treads on this topic are true about the rip offs and girls getting hurt. Also heard that female LE will be posting as providers.
If a telephone is not a local number that does not mean that it is legit. This goes for providers and customers.
