Agencies like the guys want the ladies to see new people all the time. They want new reviews instead of repeat business. The more reviews the more popular the lady resulting in the higher than average rate. The people/schedulers that run the agencies have a tendency to increase their intake. That is why many are charging $350/hour or more. If you look at this board there have been posts about a lot of bad agencies over working the ladies etc.
I remember a time when the going rate was $.5. Seems the going rate now for non agency top ladies is $$$$ or $$$$$. I'm not complaining and encourage the ladies to do what works for them.
I would like to ask why more ladies don't offer discounts to regulars. Maybe they do and I just don't know about it. I know one of my ATF's does and it's great.
I would think the familiarity of the gent ect... would certainly be worth it to the lady.

I've seen several ladies offer pre paid visits which breaks their hourly rate down to $200, sometimes less.
I've seen other ladies offer a free or discounted 3rd or 4th visit.
You should look and see what you can find. I'm sure your search will reap rewards.

Some ladies will post different prices on different sites. Also check all the major sites, ter, eros, cityvibe, adultsearch, and backpage. Some have pretty good prices with GFE services (bbbj, daty, dfk) [sometimes greek] between $150/hour-$200/hour. Many don't have reviews but there are some with review ratings in the 8-10 range.

the prices for most of the ladies are not inline with what is going on with economy, however if the ladies can get some stupid guys to pay full price + tip and cut them short on their time while doing it.. more power to them!.. I get that same action at 50%
A provider told the price that was quoted in the ad was wrong. I said ok no deal. Then said "on no no ,lets make a deal". I told her about my requirements and she agreed to come over and we had a good time.
I see very few ads these days with no negotiation. The ones that have no negotiation have had some recent corrections to adjust the price down to the local market rates. They have also opened up who they will see because they realize you can't discriminate too much in our region to survive.
The discount thing works only if the girl is looking for business. Some of the ladies I know are definitely NOT hurting even in this economy. In fact, some are almost always booked days out, even 2~3 weeks out, and overwhelmed even with their existing volume already.
I tend to treat the discount thing from the perspective of the provider, and IMHO, how a hobbyist handles it depends on what the hobbyist is looking for. If the girl performs well, looks fantastic, and treats me like a king, on subsequent visits I usually offer to pay full price even when the girl offers me a discount. (I don't do this for every girl, just the ones that I sense chemistry/ connection with) There is a reason behind this. Not because I am loaded and filthy rich but because the lady in question could be someone I'd like to keep a long term provider-client relationship with and want to give her incentive not to de-prioritize me. Notice that I'm not aiming to be treated with special privileges but rather aiming to not get bumped and to be given the appointment slot of my choice. I almost always get the time I want as a result and I never get last minute cancellations.

To be clear, I'm not against discounts in anyway, (obvious) I'd be sadistic if I was. I try to enjoy the given discount a few months but monitor how the girl is doing. if she's getting popular then she will only give a discount if she likes me personally, sacrificing her potential income from other clients. i think that makes me a bit uncomfortable to sustain too long. on the other hand if the girl is looking for business, well i will most definitely honor the discount. strangely though, none of the girls I'm interested in seeing are really hurting. Just giving a different perspective to keep in mind if one day a hobbyist wonders why his appointments are getting bumped and the lady starts answering less promptly, etc.

When I first began entertaining part time (many, many years ago), my gift was X per hour. A few of my gentlemen callers have known me since the beginning, and their gift has not, and will not increase.
I really like all the gentlemen I visit with (if I don't, I just won't see them again), and some always get a special price, because they always reserve multi hour, overnight, and travel dates. I rarely visit with any gentleman for an hour. I also offer "packages", which gives the gentleman a special price. Also offer on going arrangements, which gives the gentleman a special price, as well.
I do not, and never have run "specials". Why should I give new friends a break? I am not sure if all this makes sense, but it works for me.

There are many good choices out there in that price range.
I believe many who ask 4 or more do so to see a select few who have the extra $ and don't ask for discounts or deals.

I don’t see how your post has anything to do with discounts. If you don’t like agencies that’s fine, whatever works for you. I have not seen any major increase in agency rates for ladies with reviews around here. Actually, I haven’t seen any major increase in agency rates lately, period. And I’ve yet to find any business that doesn’t want repeat customers.
I've been enjoying this "job" for about 9months now. I would still consider myself a newbie. Here is my take on negotiating, or offering discount.
A 1 hour date for you, is essentially a 4 hour date for me - 1hour to get ready for you - 1 to drive to you, 1 to spend together, and 1 to drive home. Break down that hourly rate....
Now say you get a guy who wants to negotiate - first thing I am thinking is HE called me. You (men) looked at my site, got interested, and contacted me. Don't attempt to negotiate. Its very disrespectful. Personally it pisses me off. Rates are almost always posted on every girls site - open your eyes, get past the pics, and make sure you can afford her. If not, move on to another gal. There will ALWAYS be one in your price range.
Repeat friends - repeat friends are friends that have been seen 4 or 5 times. I personally have told a few friends to knock off some much off the price because I am seeing him so much. One friend I saw once a week for 5 weeks in a row. He does not pay full price even though we do not see each other every week now. Once a discount is offered you (men) will never pay the posted rate again.
I get frustrated when we have seen each other once and on the second visit you assume we can go overtime. I can get past the negotiating, and request for discounts, but the assumption that my time is yours angers me. If I run us overtime that's one thing, but if your intention is to drink wine, talk, and play in 3 different role play scenarios - we aren't going to get that done in an hour.
Every now and then I will post a discount offering. If/when I do, it's because I need the business; or I've got a free weekend and nothing booked and need to have some fun!

Personally, I don't get "negotiating".
I'm not saying I can afford a $1,000/HR girl...but I do believe in getting what you pay for.
Frankly, the lower the price the more skeptical I am. Any girl under $250....I chalk it up as either a handjob or someone who just wants to talk.

The conversation didn't seem to get at what I was asking, and went more towards wanting something for nothing, which was not my intent at all.
I was really asking, for a lady, what makes a guy want to see her more than once? Let's be real, there is plenty of talent in the DC area, so a guy has many options. My thoughts were if a lady created more return clients, she inturn reduces her risk by not having to see as many new clients who could possibly be trouble.
Maybe there isn't a benefit to this, maybe there are so many regular clients at the listed rate, it's not necessary.
For me, I like variety, so there are very few I repeat with. The one thing that might change that is if there was a benefit to it.
