You are right to call them as you see them. We all should know that the rating system is highly subjective and a little research can produce the necessary balance and context. I could cite several cases right now of contemporary providers who had stellar recent reviews (9/10) in DC at prices under $300 and are now routinely making 10-15% more in a less active hinterland city. Of course they adjust their rates to what the traffic will bear, and why not? They are in business, are they not?
That said, I think DC has a superb high value lineup here of residents, visitors, and free lancers. Long may that situation endure!

I recently spent a couple unexpected days in LV and decided to fill my afternoons TER providers. Here's my experience. Would be interested in yours.
First, going for the "8.5" to "9.9" overall rating landed loads of highly reviewed ladies in LV. Almost all were $600 an hour plus. Clearly, the recession/depression in Vegas has not depressed prices there. I concluded that the tourist industry (ie: me,) has permitted the LV providers to maintain their rate structure. Good for them.
So I restructured my TER search to women at $450 to 500, with the same ratings. Wow!! Dropped to less than six. But they were all still consistently rated 9's and 10's in all catagories. Ultimately saw three of them. One was so unmemorable that when I returned home, I couldn't conjure up enough of our session to write a review.
All that said, not one of the women I did see warranted the 9/10 reviews they had been repeatedly bestowed in their LV TER reviews. In comparison to providers in DC, they were 7/8 or 8/9 at best. Mind you, they were lovely girls with great attitudes, but way over rated by DC standards. And yet their rates were way out of line for here. So, I've concluded we are quite fortunate.
So the quandry. When I wrote the two reviews, do I rate them on DC standards, knowing someone from DC traveling to LV would want a fair comparison. Or do I go with the LV flow, which is likely influenced by guys from all over the US who rarely see a fairly attractive (7/8) provider where they come from, and not an 8/9, that becomes a 9/10 in their view in LV. Because each of these providers had great attitudes and are competing in a different market, I oppted to not squew their scores in that market
Right or wrong?
