I agree with mooregreg49 that we are all aliases; TER handles are aliases.
I believe aliases provide many benefits besides the obvious ones. For one thing, it levels the playing field. At one time when I was one of the top posters, I had to submit a post to voice strong disagreement with a member who seldom participated and had very few reviews. I used an alias. He shot back at me emphatically, with unjustifiably crude language. I was glad he did that. I wonder if he would have done that had I not use an alias.
We should judge the validity of a post by its content. It shouldn't matter if it's done by a new member, an old-timer, an alias, or not-an-alias.
As for other benefits. When I think of more, I'll post them in other threads with other aliases.
Recently had a double with two of my favorite ladies. Had great time in separate visits but the doubles was a disappointment. I really HATE rehearsed dialog...sounded like a bad porno movie. Sex was good, just the rehearsed dirty talk was a distraction for me. Will see them apart again but not together...
Unless I'm missing something, the OP is not using an alias. Even if he were, WTF should people get so bothered by it? Is it really that earth-shatteringly important?
