I saw a young lady that I really wanted to see at a local agency.  Filled out their form, put in my personal info (hate that, but understand it), gave them my board name here with numerous reviews & then gave them my DATE-CHECK ID with over 19 references from local ladies.  Oh, and the ladies are not BP girls, but well established indy providers & agency girls in the area.

AND, btw, their website says they do both P11 & Date-Check.

Then I get an email asking for phone numbers for at least 2 local indy's before they can process me.

What the heck?  

I'm not going to mention the agency, as I don't want to get on their bad side, but since when has screening gotten this overly complicated?

Just go back a day or two through the threads here.

I can see that level of screening for someone with NO references or with only one or two references.

But if you read the thread(s), at least one of the person(s) had references, and it still happened!

I applaud the agencies for being careful, but don't be so careful as to make it impossible for someone to get their foot in the door.........  And, shouldn't they have been that careful to start?

Else, why have 2nd, 3rd or 4th level verification?  If I'm on date-check, giving you the name of a girl who is a reference from date-check, and you can verify her phone number is the same on both sites, email the same, etc.....  At what point is the redundancy enough?  

Again, and especially, if you say you accept date-check?!?

then you shouldn't have any problems providing them with two provider references. Yes, unfortunately the agencies have to be more cautious of their screening and I am thankful for the agencies for that. Too many crazy folks out there. I don't like reading those kinds of threads about guys mistreating, scamming, and threatening these poor girls. They're just girls, and if you don't have money, then go to the fucking bar like how we always do it.

For your case, you provided datecheck, employment information, and TER handle. That is still not enough information IMO to determine if you are a safe client, despite them stating they accept datecheck. Why? Because of the few bad apples that caused the agencies to change their screening policies.

I will be honest with you. ALL of the agencies I have applied to (here in the DC and Nova: local or travel) will ask me for two provider references despite me giving them any other information. Why? Because I first must notify my two providers and remind them of who I am. If my visit with them is recent, then they'll remember me. Yes, having recent status does make a difference. If you have a good relationship with those girls, then it shouldn't be a problem to call, text, or email those girls for a reference.

Datecheck, your handle, and employment information does not tell you how recent your status is as it relates to being safe. Datecheck for me is only a way to verify that she has saw you before. Even though I saw her 6 months ago and she said I saw him on Datecheck, that is still 6 months ago and I can change during those times and be a crazy guy. It does not give the screener an option to check how recent your status is and to discuss how you are as a client: only provider references can do that.

Again, ALL of the agencies I have applied to have always asked me for 2 provider references. If I have so many datecheck verification and can't provide them with at least 2 provider references, then what does that say about me? Your TER handle doesn't do anything, anyone can write reviews, fake or not. Your employment information only validate your name and where you work to determine if you're working with LE or not.

BTW, I'm not an English professor and my reply probably has more grammatical errors in it than yours. However, you said "And, shouldn't they have been that careful to start?" Shouldn't is should not. Should've is should have. Its contractions!!! LMAO. Sorry, as I was reading it, "shouldn't" stood out. Again, I'm not the best as it relates to the English language but I just want you to be aware of that contraction.

IHMO if you are not interested in giving the info, move on. Personally with all the stuff going with LE I would not use agencies.  You might have to wait until something nice comes along or go on hobby trips.

At this point, I've actually provided them with 4-5 references, as sometimes ladies are not so easy to contact.

So please climb back down off your soap box.  

I was simply trying to make an observation about how it seems increasingly difficult to get screened for guys who have been around for awhile AND have multiple references.

As for your example, anyone could provide an agency with the name(s) of two "unknown" providers - does that make that person more or less safe?  3rd party sites like Date-Check or P411 are there for the convenience of BOTH sides.  Why list it as an acceptable means of verification if you don't accept it?

As for you providing 2 references - bully for you!   I've been approved by multiple agencies simply on the date-check screening process without a problem. That is what it is for!  I have also had them ask for references and, when they do, I always ask them why they say they accept P411 or Date-check, only then ask for references too.

Screening, like pricing, is market driven.  As long as there are guys willing to go through the ringer to get an appointment, the ringer will continue to be used.  And the ringer will get tighter and tighter until it gets to the point where enough guys opt out that it requires the agency or provider to either rethink their requirements or find a new line of work.
They have a right to ask, you have a right to decline.
And BTW, trying to justify this level of intrusion by citing recent posts on ripoffs is ridiculous.  ALL of the "shorting the donation" ripoffs posted on this board were by guys who were screened - multiple references and/or employment info.  ALL of those ripoffs could have been avoided by a simple request for the donation up front.

The agency in question finally did get back to me and approve me.  It took almost 72 hours for the approval process to finish and probably would have taken longer but I gave them around 5 references instead of the 2 they asked for.

Over kill?  Maybe, but sometimes the ladies are not available to vouch for you and the process gets drawn out.  When the provider you want to see is only in town for a couple of days, 72 hours may prevent you from visiting because you get approved by the time she is leaving....
