A week is a long time for no response. I agree with the comment about checking for activity by her via ads and email and if you find any, that confirms you are being ignored and you should out her and her business practices. If not, then maybe something is terribly wrong and you should remain patient.....But, if your account is true and there is a '6 page reviewed' provider operating in such a way and stealing, well, I would like to know as I may be relying on her and her credibility as a partial reference at some point. Therefore, you put the entire community at risk in various ways by not doing your part as a member to keep everyone SAFE, not simply from getting ripped off, but SAFE as a whole. Shit rolls downhill you know? Just something to think about for the OP....

......than we had before the "rip off" thread appeared. It's never a good thing when someone gets ripped off but giving money to someone you don't know (in or out of the hobby) is just asking for it.  
Just as I predicted the drama went on for a day or two and everyone moved on. Even my two detractors who felt it necessary to chastise me for my opinion have not pursued the truth or enlightened us with a way to right this egregious wrong.  To them I say, better to use your brain before engaging your balls and be careful, the soap box can be an unstable platform to preach from.  

OP, I hope it all worked out for you and everyone is happy and safe.

Of several of the replies and have tried to contact the provider and try to see if we could make it right.  When I asked the question in the first place it was  because this provider has 6 pages of reviews on ter.  I did not want to start a fire storm. I just wanted some advice from the board on what to do.
She still has not contacted me and I still am troubled by outing her.

Why? Just because she has 6 pages of good reviews? Or because you are not sure you got ripped off?  How do we know she has not done this before unless you out her? If you are not going to out her, then I think you should have followed dontgetit's advice by keeping quiet. You post is essentially worthless; why bother askng for advices when you know you are not going to follow them? I don't get it.

When I first asked for advice I did not know what I I wanted to do.  That is why I asked advice from the board.  Telling me that asking for advice before doing something is not worthless.  Once I put a name out there, I can not take it back.  I wanted to be very sure that I make the right decision.  And yes I did get ripped off.  I been hobbing for many years and never had this happen before.  
 I have met many great ladies in this town and have always trusted ter and datecheck to help me.  That is why this bothers me so much.

OK, OK, I can see you being nervous about potential backlash from the provider community.  But the only way  this would happen is if you outted her and your story/accounting of the events comes up shaky.

At a minimum you could offer BC info, a NCNS review, an Alias summary of events with names and dates, something.

But to simply vent your initial  frustration with losing some money, however it happened, post on TER and start some SH@#$ about how you got ripped off...then do the best Michael Jackson moon walking imitation I've ever seen.....I cry BullSh@#%

Is the provider that you have this problem with, has she advertised since she NCNS on you.  
Has she post on TER or another site ??  

If she has, then she is not hurt or out of commission in someway. Then she is  deliberately not answering your emails.
Then you should out her and make sure you point out that after the NCNS she is able to post or advertise, proving that she is not answering you, and has ripped you off.

Yes you will catch some hell for it, and a little drama might be involved, but do you really want say nothing knowing that she might rip someone  else off.  

If she pulled this before on some other guy, don't you wish he said something and save you from all this trouble.

It is up to you, but look don't let some other guy get screw, because you are afraid of a little backlash.

she would read this board and based on the initial story should it be true,  she aready knows the OP, so what is to stop her from bashing him on the Provider's Only board  just to futher mess with him and even blacklist him and he would never know nor be able to defend himself because he never outed her first? What a no win situation.

Let me first say I am really sorry this happened to you (providing your account is true). This sounds like something that is happening way to often. I do agree with the other members on the board that you should be a little more proactive about providing information regarding what happened with you and this provider. Reach out to her to find out why she accepted your deposit and did not show up and that you plan to post what happened on the board if you don't hear from her by the end of the week.  

Again, you do need to be a little more proactive then just to post that you got "ripped off." Whatever you decide to do I wish you luck, because this board sounds like they are not going to let you get away with NOT doing something about it.  

Here is link of another provider who also rip off another client who happens to be visiting Chicago and a member is giving everyone a heads up. Just an idea of how you should probably go about it

The reason for me posting the link was to give him an idea how he would be helping others. I do have to say that I think it unfair that just because this provider has 6 pages of reviews he feels reluctant to do what many would consider the right thing "outing" her.  

I don't have a full page of reviews yet, but guarantee if I were to THINK of ripping someone off it would be posted all over TER. The same should apply to someone who has 6 pages of reviews. Yes,  I  suggested he contact her and threaten her with making it known of what she did. It's his call how he chooses to handle it from there.  

I truly meant no harm to anyone in posting the link, but only to give him an example of how it does keep other hobbyist aware and preventing this from happening to others.

There are not that many well reviewed DC based providers with exactly 6 pages of reviews.  Take a look at the top 100 page and one might be able to start guessing who she might be
