When you go to a hotel see if they can give a copy of 'Where Washington' magazine. It has excellent maps in the back that give the exact locations of most hotels.

I am going to try going from hotel to hotel and even stores to collect the single gloves they have. I checked before and they throw them away after 14-30 days.
There are tons of them.
I will seperate the rights from lefts and hand them out to the kids ( teens)at the DC Walk for the Homeless next Saturday.
The young people freeze their fingers and none of them have gloves while they perpare the items for the event early in the morning.
One glove is better than no gloves.
I hope my project works.

There are about 4 areas I'd mention. If you're driving, Tysons Corner has a lot of hotels with easy parking. I'd take Metro; there are maybe 8 hotels within 3-4 blocks of Dupont Circle. There are also several hotels close to Metro Center. One area often overlooked is Crystal City. Within a 5-10 minute walk of that Metro station are 2 Marriotts, a Hilton, Radisson, Hyatt, Residence Inn, Sheraton & Holiday Inn. I applaud your initiative. Maybe you could grab & distribute some umbrellas, too.

is it supposed to rain?
I think it did rain last year.
I need a partner in crime.
Gloves are light weight and easy to manage, if I add unmbrellas I need a a helper.

everywhere . I haveseen them one here and there all over the place there.
So those two stops will be good, plus I cvan go to all the restaurants and stores and see if they have any gloves.

I just suggested umbrellas because they're one of the most common lost & found items. As to a helper, when were you thinking of doing this?  I'm retired & have some free time. You can pm me with details if you like.

You can contact them with your plan and likely get more than you ask for, both left and right along with coats and other clothes they have in lost and found.
