Da Domenico Ristorante, Brio

Mom and pop place with house made sausages and pastas.  Down route 7

For authentic, although the only place directly accessible via the two malls would be Brio and Maggiano

to the best of my knowledge. Even the ones in georgetown sort of suck

Sfizi is a trattoria on Broad Street in Falls Church.

I know people that work there and it's just not the place it once was in the 90s.

All you NOVA types, over river in Rockville MD (15209 Frederick Rd) is ll Pizzico. Best in DMV.

If you have a car, try Osteria Marzano in Springfield.  Tucked away in an office building but great homemade pastas.
