There is this provider who advertises from time to time and the way for her to screen clients is by asking for a scanned picture of the driver's license and a recent picture.
The question is how you done this?
I am ok with showing my ID at the appointment but emailing pictures of it
Is sort of different.

Please advise!

Thanks

That's F-ing crazy! That is an incredibly intrusive screening requirement. No matter how gorgeous this provider looks, don't do it, it's just not worth it.

Thank you for the input.
I will deff not do it

But if you do you may as well save her the research and send her your mother's maiden name, bank account and PIN numbers while you are at it, that will likely be her next step anyway

Who would ever consider sending this to a provider? Insane

If i want to see someone I send my first (real) name, hobby phone and hobby email, ter, datecheck and p411 handles (30 plus oks) and about 15 provider references. If this isn't enough I won't see them. Last name...forget it. I will shiw drivers license at appt with everything covered except face...no problem there.

Someone who is using a stolen driver's license and a pic off of that driver's facebook page...

to submit yourself to identity theft as well. Lots of providers with reasonable screening Imagine explaining to your bank and credit cards how someone got your personal information...
I do remember one lady that showed me pics of drivers licenses that guys had sent to her cell phone. She couldn't believe that guys would do that. Good that she has integrity and didn't compromise their information.

That's exactly true. The Internet is a dangerous thing if one doesn't use it wisely.

It's definately a lot of information, but at the same time I do it on occassion. If the voice sounds young, I don't  care if he uses Jesus himself for a reference, I want your Identification to verify your identity. At the same time there are more than enough providers who won't ask this from you. When a client is young and trying to receive a reference or become a regular-he will definately do it. My clientele is somewhat younger than majority of the board posters, which is why they don't mind complying. But, at the same time I would be careful of sending personal information to anyone!

Sounds true about the younger clientele.
It now makes sense as of why some providers make clear in their ads they prefer not to see
certain young men...

...... I will accept at least 2 current forms of photo ID as part of screening. I don't require but it's one of the many options I have for screening.  Many have done it.

Do you photocopy and retain the IDs, or just verify them?
