Just a post to encourage the ladies, as I want them to be safe from dopes and LE (to keep my butt out of that sling!).

Please think about the tings you do or ask as part of screening. This pertains to the use of "true names". I'm not saying to use this, but to be aware of limitations.

Lets assume I'm the CL creep looking for ladies, so it wouldn't be unreasonable for me to go to these lengths, which are not all that hard. For LE it's child's play.

 - create dummy corp
 - create dummy web site for business
 - business phone routes to my hobby phone
 - fake IDs are easy as is voice altering technology

I can also easily find a name and company info on a site such as Linkedin, and create a fake ID with my photo.

Again, my point is not to convince you to not use real names and IDs, but to think about the limitations of this with regards to the effect you desire.

Maybe it's good enough. Much of this all boils down to risk versus reward and our comfort level with certain things, the same as we do for STDs and services.
